Meanwhile the MBI agents go up for trial at Feral’s tribunal. Trina, Gracie, Joe and Hans are all interviewed first and each tell the truth as much as they are allowed but it does no good and they realize they must go along with the plan McGrath had set. Josie too is interviewed, McGrath still serving as her legal defense. The MBI are found not guilty of breaking international law as they are thought to have been cooperating with the NSA, therefore the MBI agents are free to go and the warrants lifted. Josie agrees to hire Nightshade (who is unaware of her heritage) and after an interview, sends her off. Later at her apartment, Nightshade gets Lex Manx to do her a favor she owes and dye her hair to work on that new identity she’ll need as she is now supposed to be dead.
Read Log Joe arranges for himself and Trina to take a bit of time off to rest as both are mentally exhausted from the recent events, Trina moreso as she thought the SWAT Kats (one of who is her cousin) were dead for a time. They head off to a secluded cabin and enjoy one another’s company while resting.
Meanwhile, McGrath takes Felony and a hired ‘bodyguard’ of hers ‘Hannibal’ to Switzerland by irregular means. There they find one of Dark Kat’s old favorite lairs in which McGrath sends Felony alone in to disarm the traps set by its previous owner.

Josie contacts them both and Felina (who was already aware of the situation via Jase) has a small team with her to raid Alexandria’s dorm room at her sorority house. Sure enough, some katnip in powdered form is found and Lex is placed under arrest and taken into custody despite her protests and denials. Jase contacts Callie during this to explain the situation and expect the arrest, where Callie asks him to keep it quiet from the media and investigate it fully themselves. Unfortunately, Rex called in the media anonymously and they were there to see Lex’s arrest.

McGrath shows them a device for instant travel and uses it to go back to Megakat City leaving the two to their own devices. Felony decides to use the device and Maven suggests Bora Bora. Unfortunately the two end up in the middle of a storm.
McGrath goes to the NSA to speak with Swytch. He negotiates a deal with the demoness for her freedom. In exchange, she’ll help navigate someone in the Realm of Fire to destroy it and keep any future invasions from occuring.

Rex has gone to Callie’s office to gloat when Gracie and Margray interrupt to begin their undercover stint as Rex’s political advisors (much to Rex’s surprise). They shoo Rex out of the office to talk with Callie and let her know they’re there and all and the investigation is officially beginning.
McGrath talks with Josie who overheard everything with him and Swytch. She’s reluctant but allows McGrath to free Swytch to use her help in this whole buisness with the Realm of Fire’s destruction, hoping Swytch and Monroe will both be destroyed along with it. McGrath and Swytch seperate after her release as McGrath has an interview at the MBI.
Maven and Felony make it to shore when the storm soon dies down. They find a guy named Jacques who helps them out and inquires if they know “him” meaning Dark Kat. Felony explains she’s taking over after his death and he shows them a secret underground storage facility, loaded with tons of weaponry and equipment for a small army. He lets the two look around while he fixes up a place in the village there for them to stay during this monsoon season.
Enzo had been moved to Enforcer Headquarters recently though is in solitary due to his injuries and all as he awaits trial. McGrath awaits both the captains for his job interview concerning the investigator position. Joe and Jase question him, and while they wouldn’t mind giving it to him, Jase would rather talk to Mark first due to the fact McGrath is still working for the NSA and stated he may divulge limited information to the NSA if needed (and vice versa). McGrath agrees to return in a few days for an answer and exits.
Ringo entered the gym after Joe had gone off to interview McGrath. Trina challenges him to play some basketball with her. After a failed manuver by Ringo, the two end up talking seriously about Ringo’s dating habits as Trina tries to help him out there or at least help him figure out what he wants (or rather what he doesn’t want in a she-kat).
Gracie comes up after working on some explosives or ‘vicious toasters’ and goes to the breakroom where Hans is. After a scared Hertz flees thinking an appliance attack is about to happen, Ringo joins the two. Hans gets a few messages from beyond as well as sees the reflection of the Red Lynx. Alarmed, he goes down to evidence, takes the Red Lynx’s ring and goes into the parking lot where he shoots the ring, breaking it into pieces. Denying Gracie and Ringo an explination, they seperate and Hans goes to the toms’ locker room where the Red Lynx’s reflection is seen only to Hans in a mirror. Ringo sees Hans break the mirror with his fist after shouting at it and questions him again, this time Hans explains things.

Hans decides to go to the Megakat Museum of Natural History, taking Tasha along with him after explaining things to her. Dr. Sinian talks with the two, but doesn’t offer any feasable solution to the problem though she does inform them that the Lynx and Manx families have been at odds long before the Red Lynx was shot down by the Blue Manx.

Tasha and Hans flee the breakroom to search around the building where they find McGrath just entering the building. The three go down to his office to see if the pixies can confirm that this isn’t supernatural.
Soon things return to near normalcy as everything stops and the emergency lights come on. It appears that it wasn’t supernatural, and is assumed to be a preemptive strike to a much larger attack as Megakat City is in a blackout. Communications, vehicles and other electric devices are also not working, so McGrath sends the pixies out to locate and inform the other agents and have them come to the MBI where later all will try and determine the cause of this while the Enforcers handle the city.
Read Log The MBI agents gather and two groups are sent out to investigate possible sources narrowed down that may lead to the cause of the blackout. McGrath and Cole head out to the power plant along with Enforcer Kougar while Tasha and Gracie take to Megakat Tower. Little do the agents know that the ones responsible for this are keeping close tabs on the MBI’s investigation of the matter.
Read Log After the power plant and Megakat Tower have been checked out, Tasha and Gracie return to the MBI where they’re joined by Kougar, Hans and Protocol. While discussing each groups’ findings, Kougar gets a call on his radio that some attack macrobots at Puma-Dyne have been hijacked and are destroying the complex. The Megs’ and Enforcers’ attempts at taking down the bots proves futile and the SWAT Kats arrive on the scene only to discover there is no one piloting the macrobots. Both of the macrobots stop suddenly in their tracks, but was it Razor’s doing or the one controlling them from afar?

Cole, Christian and Trina suit up and head on out to take care of it. Joe shortly after arrives when some thugs come out and try to kill the kits for past vandalizing their property.
Meanwhile, Nightshade and Swytch meet up with McGrath who sets things up to get the two to the Realm of Fire for their mission. The location is an old drive in which is nearby where the Megs are handling the kitten vandals. Mark has a meeting with McGrath in which he’s not too happy with his agents ending up in the Realm of Fire and McGrath assures him they were not part of any plan. He gets a fax from EHQ concerning Joe’s suspicion of murder and want him to contact them as soon as he makes contact with Joe. Mark contacts Joe just as Joe and Trina are about to leave to make a run from the law. Enzo nor Joe are too pleased at the arrangement but Enzo allows them to stay since Joe did save Shady’s life years ago.
McGrath meanwhile continues to investigate the fax and just how it is this has come to life. Tasha won’t tell him anything of Joe’s past as she’s distrustful of him since he works for the NSA. McGrath goes to speak with the detective on the case, Ling Xiao, who is puzzled as she never recieved the case and can’t find anything in the database about it. The kat makes Hans become his puppet while tormenting his dreams with what Hans fears the most.
Tasha and Gracie go and check on Hans as he didn’t return from the bathroom, only to find him missing from the building entirely.
