2008 Afternoon Logs

A new vigilante is in town but his first attempt at something “big time” doesn’t go quite as planned.

Tran’s supply of eggs and pomegranate juice have run out at the MBI what with Tessie been in hiding and the pixies gone. Because they were the main ones to keep him steady in what he needed, the last minute discovery of being out forced Tran to try and hurry to the nearest supermarket to get more. Unfortunately his transformation occurs before he can get what he needs, and it’s up to Tasha and Hans who were grocery shopping at the time to stop him from harming anyone and get him back to normal.

Later Renegade seeks out Bandit to ask if he’ll allow Yang to steal some nuclear fuel rods for a bomb she’s planning on having made to drop on the city. Bandit gives her a more sinister idea which Renegade will consider before sharing her plans in more detail with Bandit.

Felony takes Edric along with her to an MWA event where afterwards she goes to speak with Bandit about plans for the city.

Fenton comes by Ling and Dave’s office to talk with Ling a bit. Ling introduces the guys to one another. Dave is a bit put off by Fenton interrupting his work time but Ling isn’t so bothered, despite having to decline another date invitation from Fenton. Fenton soon leaves and is struck down again and finally manages to score a night out with Felina of all kats. Ling and Dave have a discussion about things and Fenton and Felina discuss what they’ll do on their date.

Josie tells Dave about Fenton’s flirting with her and so Dave goes to find him to confront him about it. Commander Feral however has gotten to Fenton first, giving him a bit of a threat if he doesn’t treat his niece Felina right after hearing about their date. Fenton goes to speak with Felina when Dave arrives and the two toms settle things like civil toms.

Gargoyle saves a she-kat from her less than polite date.

Joe finds Trina has arrived home safely and takes her to the doctor’s to be certain their unborn kitten is safe. The doctor seems to think all is well.

Josie warns Dave about something going to happen that may destroy the city and wants him to leave. Dave refuses saying he can’t leave knowing others will need help and so Josie gives in and doesn’t try to talk him into leaving.

Clarice and Tony go out for lunch and Clarice informs Tony she’s got a daughter, figuring he’ll not want to bother with her any further. While Tony is shocked, he goes home with her anyway to meet Melody. All is well until Enzo calls asking Tony to check a shipment.

Gargoyle happens apon Tony and Jenna discussing weapons as Jenna informs Tony of what happened with the MBI and Katpone’s shipment. The vigilante manages to injure Tony and take off with Jenna’s van, crashing it into Enforcer HQ for them to have as evidence to hopefully lead to their capture.

Mark and Angela are at the park having a quiet picnic as friends when Josie and Dave happen apon them. Friendly conversation is had though tension between Mark and Dave is present. Angela ends up later asking Mark if he’d go on a date with her which he agrees. Dave tries to make something for Josie but it turns out disasterous for him.

In a not quite serious but canon RP, Commander Feral orders Dave to bring Josie and go on a double date with Felina and Steven.

Continuation from last week, Dave and Josie tail Steven and Felina to Felina’s apartment. Seeing that looks like the two will be there awhile, Josie and Dave decide to leave and spend some time together themselves.

Hans and Tasha help Tran to train a bit for strength and also try to explain why kats do certain things.

Tran helps Tasha with paperwork and the two talk.

This particular RP goes back to the old west, where it seems Sheriff Lynx and Deputy Dave are in charge of keeping the peace. Flirtations with the owner of the Nine Lives saloon and one of its workers leave the boys with free booze and stew. When the Deputy gets enough courage to ask Josaphine if he could court her, a masked stranger comes into town, lookin’ for the Sheriff. Miss Tasha warns the Sheriff who goes to have a chat with this fella, only to end out on the streets, but not for the typical shootout.

A non-canon ‘verse RPG where Tasha, Trina and Lex are students at Megakat University. The three girls are the only ones who have registered for Cameron’s Women’s Wrestling PE course where Cameron is the coach.

Tran, Josie and Tessie have a discussion about names and how Tran and Tessie don’t like to be called what their creator’s named them. Tran then ends up accidentally transforming himself to look like Josie as it seems like his abilities are becoming more advanced.

Dave and Josie run into Mark while out doing some shopping. The encounter as usual is less than pleasant.

Renegade attempts to rob a swanky jewlery store for its valuable ruby display. The vigilante Gargoyle spots her and foils her heist.

Dr. Greenbox and Tessie go out to the store where they stop by an ATM on the way. The ATM malfunctions and thinking it’s safe, Tessie zaps in to retrieve Greenbox’s money and card. However they were spotted by Gargoyle and there are some misunderstandings about what exactly is going on.

Hans and Tasha are sent to the MWA to help in keeping an eye on things for MWA’s big Havoc-ween PPV event. They talk with Full Force and rival Jumping Bean while there.

A plot in a different time, Queen Callista of Megalith gets a message from neighboring kingdom of Kattingham declaring war. Callista gets her knights to prepare for war but will not be using magic as Queen Josalyn has accused Callista of using dark magic and wants her defeated.

Josie goes to Cameron’s to see if he’ll help her out of her crisis by purchasing her house from her in case she loses the civil law suit in regards to the black out.

Tansy takes Tessie out to a dance club to help her friend meet some boys. Unfortunately the two toms they meet aren’t so great but they get help dealing with them from Gargoyle.
