Jason and Trina return from their concert tour in Japan. Their respective significant others Ann and Joe greet the Korat siblings at the airport.
Read Log With the return of Mark and the Korats, the director gathers everyone at the MBI up for a meeting. In this meeting he congradulates for the good work but gets serious soon after stating he’s noticed some of the agents not liking how things are or working with certain others. To remedy this (or just make the Megs’ lives heck ;D) Mark pairs all the agents up for partnerships to help get to know one another and work out differences. Trina and Fletch are partnered, Josie and Joe are partnered and Tasha and Hans are partnered. Hertz and Sypher are partnered later too (is that right?). Each set is given an assignment to work on and once dismissed, each team goes to begin work on their particular cases.
Meanwhile another meeting is being held by Dark Kat. Sypher and Protocol attend this one (Sypher needs to make sure meetings for both employments aren’t on the same day at the same time XD) to which Dark Kat explains his plans for an Operation Doom. Dark Kat also introduces “Rilth” who in fact is that advanced cyberdemon staticy creature that’s after McGrath and Stormcrow from the future. He puts Rilth in second of command and dismisses the cyberdemons to begin their assigned tasks. Protocol is sent to work with Rilth at the Desert Base and she along with the others are given orders to steal information from Puma-Dyne and the Defense Center. One other objective is added, one which Dark Kat is not to know about after Rilth used some controlling device on the cyberdemons, and that objective is to destroy McGrath on sight. Protocol goes off to do as instructed (unaffected by the device) and finds McGrath at the Defense Center outside where she informs him of Rilth.
Sypher starts vacuuming the halls and finds a trail of woodshavings. Following it he arrives at the front desk to find Hertz on top of and a beaver underneath and a scared Hertz on top of the desk. Apparently thebeaver escaped from the zoo and followed Hertz (who was at the zoo earlier that day) to the MBI. The two try to catch it but fail and Trina and Fletch arrive on the scene now, soon after Hans and Tasha do as well. They manage to take the wiley beaver (with much hilarity! check out the log to this one for many a laugh XD) down and Trina has it shipped off back to the zoo.
Read Log Trina and Fletch go to visit Hard Drive where they encounter his mother at the door. The two are invited in and go downstairs to find “Aloysius” living in his mother’s basment with his high-tech set up. The two Megs attempt to quietly take Hard Drive downtown but he resists. After a battle in the basement with the suped up surgecoat wearing Hard Drive, Fletch and Trina manage to take him down and cart him back to the MBI.
Tasha and Hans do their own investigating. The first address leads them to a residence but no one’s home. After some time the check out the second place which is the warehouse where Fletch and Hans had taken Chop-Shop down before. Nothing suspicious around the place, which is in great need of repair and marked for condemning, the two head back to the MBI and will check the first address again the next day.
Sypher does a bit of snooping of his own after cleaning up the MBI some. He comes across the files that McGrath made and makes a note of it all. He finally gets some information on one of the MBI’s missions which is that they are out for Chop-Shop since the page was tampered with noticably. Later he’s helped out by Tasha and Hans with a clogged vacuum. Both of them tell him he should request other assignments than clean up duty to which he says he will.
Protocol continues with her mission for Rilth and he calls her over to speak with her. At first she pretends she doesn’t know what he’s talking about with the future and working with McGrath, but soon gives that up to try and get some answers out of Rilth. Rilth informs her that McGrath is the one who’s at fault for things and there’s good reason why her memory had missing parts and that he won’t let cyberkats ever merge with him. Protocol asks to return after checking it out which Rilth agrees to. She finds McGrath and forcibly merges with him, learning about the NSA and some of McGrath’s role in it. Before she can get too personal, he manages to boot her out with a device. The two discuss things and as she’s been “comprimised”, McGrath decides to leave her.
After Fletch is finished with Hard Drive, he goes to the offices where he finds Josie and Joe doing research on their assignment for the ‘nip dealers of Megakat. Seems Joe’s father Commander Forge sent a fax over of some kats who’re let out on parole that were involved in Twilight City’s ‘nip deals some years back. One of them is Joe’s old boss, Derringer. The three decide the best way to handle this situation is by infiltrating the organization undercover. After they get permission from the Captain for Fletch to join in on this and the mission period, they’ll begin their plans.
Read Log One of the parolled kats Derringer called up Joe asking if he could stay at his place for a few days seeing as how he’s fresh outta the joint with no place to stay. Joe agreed to let him stay as this will be the perfect opportunity to get back in with the old crew back in Twillight. Derringer heard Joe’s with the MBI now, but Joe managed to convince Derringer that he’s tired of the low pay and all and is just working there to look good. Derringer wants him to come back to work for him which Joe says he will and will bring a couple others with him who feel frustrated as he is on the job.
Read Log Tasha, not wanting to be around Derringer, lets Hans (who also doesn’t want Tasha around Derringer) to pay for a hotel room at the Sealkat Hotel. He got her a nice suite too and both kats talk about Joe and how Tasha is concerned for him, hoping he won’t go back to his old ways and into the ‘nip habit.
Trina talks with Joe in her office about the case and what Joe, Fletch and Josie intend to do to get close to Derringer in order to bring them down. During this, the MBI gets an order for new furniture, computers and even some appliances, all paid for from the remainder of Trina and Jase’s money earned at the Live 10 concert in Japan.
Read Log Fletch, Josie and Joe have the go ahead for their undercover mission and the three discuss legit reasons they’re “crooked” agents.
Read Log Glitch, one of Dark Kat’s rogue cyberdemons, goes to the MBI as she is in need of help. Stormcrow brings her to Trina’s office where Glitch tells Trina her story. It seems that poor Glitch got her name for a reason as she malfunctions from time to time. Dark Kat dubbed her this but used her anyway for a mission. The mission was to go and observe then merge with Dr. Leiter Greenbox (who was let out of a psychiatric hospital with a clean bill of mental health though he has regular therapy sessions) at Puma-Dyne to get him to build another Micro-Brain Repair Unit (Zed) prototype.
Dr. Greenbox and Glitch converse during her merge with him and she ends up gaining his memories as well as some emotions from him. Greenbox manages to get her to see that it isn’t right for Dark Kat to use her or her cyberdemon kind an offers to keep her with him so she wouldn’t have to return to Dark Kat. Glitch questions Dark Kat during one of her reports and Dark Kat (having dealt with a deviant Matrix already) gets suspiscious. He downloads a program into her, one he claims is to fix her glitches but instead is really a virus that he can activate at anytime in an attempt to override any personal feelings she may have so he may control her once again. Glitch gains a soul and Dark Kat ends up activating the virus. However, Glitch’s glitches end up saving her from the program’s true purpose and do the opposite of what Dark Kat wants, even going so far as to disable the tracking signal she gives off.
Greenbox, feeling remorse for his little insane spell back with Zed and the SWAT Kats, decides to help Glitch become a biological kat, and so he has become like a father to the now cyberkat. He helped her pick the name Tessie Reed (as well as make up the story he adopted her with her help rigging public records) and she stays with him in his apartment in her own room learning as well as helping out Greenbox with his inventions. Recently Glitch ran into Matrix one day while at a park. Matrix all this time has managed to hide himself from Dark Kat’s cyberdemons in the computer of the MBI’s lieutenant Trina Korat. After talking with Glitch, Matrix suggests she go to the MBI for help.
After explaining all of this to a dumbfounded Trina (who was assigned the case of Dark Kat’s rumored “mysterious project”) asks for proof of this. So Glitch shows her by going acoherent and then returning solid as to not frighten the lieutenant further.
Read Log Continuing from Friday, Glitch finishes talking with a calmer Trina. Glitch tells her she wants to make sure that she and her “father” Dr. Greenbox remain safe from Dark Kat who while it is likely he knows where she is, hasn’t come for her yet. Trina agrees she’ll look into it after getting information on Dark Kat from Glitch and Glitch leaves the MBI.
Joe and Josie talk about the case some more. He asks if she’s got her story ready which she does. Their meeting with Derringer has been postponed a bit as he’s had to travel to and from Twillight City some recently.
An young tom-kat enters the MBI and speaks with Stormcrow asking her what the year is. Stormcrow tells him 2006, to which the young tom seems distressed about. Before she can get anything out of the tom, three circular objects appear at the window in the lobby and bust into the MBI! The circular objects open fire at the young tom who gets Stormcrow to duck down behind her desk. Then he proceeds to return fire at them and with Stormcrow’s help, the two blast the things which are robotic.
The unknown tom (who looks like he could be a relative to Jase ‘n Trina) thanks Stormcrow and tells her his cal sign is “Rebelde” and that he’s from the year 2032. He asks who’s in charge, to which Stormcrow tells him. Rebelde seems to be relieved and makes for the door, not wanting to speak with them at this time. He also tells her that whoever is in charge, they might want to melt those messed up circular objects before leaving. Stormcrow makes sure the things are “dead” and hurries off to find Trina as she’s the highest ranking officer there at the moment. Stormcrow tells Trina about all of this and shows her the lobby. On closer inspection, it seems the circular objects came from Puma-Dyne. For now, Trina decides not to inform Puma-Dyne or anyone outside the MBI about this and she has Stormcrow put the remains of the circular objects into the evidence room.
Read Log Trina has looked over the information Glitch gave her concerning the cyberkats. Stormcrow finishes up cleaning the lobby from the attack of those drones when Sypher arrives from another unsuccessful hunt for Matrix (who still resides in Trina’s computer, unknown to her). A kat named Ashcoat enters the building with a filled out application seeking employment. Trina has Stormcrow show him around and gets him a uniform while she gets Sypher to take a look at those drones for a second opinion. The drone Sypher looks at says a few things concerning destruction, orders and the last thing they get it to say is “Dark Kat”.
Fletch, Josie and Joe wait at the docks for Derringer to show so that Joe can introduce the other two to Derringer. Derringer does finally show up and after hearing Fletch and Josie’s stories for wanting to join up, he gives them the benifit of the doubt and sends the three out to deliver a recent shipment of katnip to a drop off point for distrubution. During conversation between Derringer and Joe, Fletch and Josie learn that Joe not only worked for Derringer years ago, but was also a ‘nip addict. Unsettled by this, the three agree to discuss it later after they make the drop. They put tracers on the crates before they arrive to track them. The drop off goes sucessful with a purple haired she-kat who gives them the money that’s to go back to Derringer along with a message that “Enzo sends his love”. After dropping off the money, they head back to the MBI where Joe goes to lay down as Derringer had practically forced Joe to try some of the ‘nip earlier and its effects were getting to him. Josie informs Fletch of her disapproval of Joe even being an agent with his history but Fletch convinces Josie to at least talk to Joe before reporting him.
McGrath sneaks into the MBI and manages to catch Stormcrow by herself, propping the door so no one else can get in. Ashcoat and Trina rush hearing her scream as she was startled by him. McGrath warns Stormcrow that Jack Spinner from the NSA will soon be after her for her powers and that Spinner is working with the thing that’s been after her. The talisman he implanted in her has her etheral energy from five years into the future and that they want to experiment and destroy her. He quickly leaves and soon after the NSA come storming into the MBI, led by Jack Spinner. Trina tries to waylay him as Spinner wants to take Stormcrow, showing some papers claiming her to be some sort of terrorist.
Stormcrow barely manages to get away via teleporting where McGrath again finds her. He hands her a spherical object that will mask her powers as that is how they are tracking her. He also tells her to seek out Dr. Greenbox as Greenbox is currently harboring someone else like her. Stormcrow looks Greenbox’s address up at Megakat University and arrives at his apartment where she talks to him and Glitch about her situation. Stormcrow even shows them her powers, and Glitch shows Stormcrow her own, explaining who and what she is. Greenbox is confused but agrees to let her stay and that he and Glitch will help her out until it is safe for her to go back to the MBI.
Read Log The next day, Greenbox wakes up Stormcrow and she along with Glitch have breakfast together and discuss the situation again. Stormcrow agrees to let Glitch and Greenbox look over the sphere but not until after she feels it is safe to. They instead have Glitch hack into the NSA site and look through its records for Jack Spinner (who seems on the up and up), McGrath (who isn’t in there at all) and then Stormcrow (which pulls up information of her supposed terroist activities). Rilth notes this intrusion into the system and closes off access to Glitch as well as tries to trace her. Glitch pulls out in time though and the three ponder things over.
Mark and Trina exchange words concerning Spinner and the NSA’s intrusion into the MBI. Mark knows she’s upset but felt she handled the situation wrong. Josie goes to talk with Joe and they too exchange harsh words concerning Joe’s past and him being an agent and being on this ‘nip case with his old boss. Josie doesn’t think he can avoid getting hooked again and goes to inform the director of this new outcome. Mark isn’t pleased but says they’ll deal with it and she’s dismissed. He calls up Joe’s dad to see if what Josie said of him knowing and helping out Joe those years ago is true which Commander Forge says it is. Something will be worked out however the case is still open. Fletch also goes to speak with Trina about Joe and she informs him she can do nothing either way and isn’t sure what the punishment for this would be. Noting her distress on the matter, Fletch lets her be for now.
Rilth contacts Protocol and tells her that McGrath is causing problems it seems and lets her go take care of him. They meet on the roof of their now usual meeting place to discuss things, where Protocol informs him she won’t let him stop Rilth as she wants to destroy everything. He tells her they should be helping the situation out and he won’t back down no matter what.
Fletch, Joe and Josie (who had a strange convo with Hertz concerning dodgeball and how he managed to survive it in school) end up back in the deskroom together. Neither Joe nor Josie speak or look at anything other than their desks. Fletch tries to get the two to talk by going on about a basketball game which turns out to be a story with a point about trusting one another and helping teammates when they’re in trouble. Josie and Joe end up arguing again and Josie storms out of the room. Joe feels like just quitting now but Fletch tells him to give her time and that he may not be fired for this. Fletch explains that Josie’s just seeing the facts and that if Joe wants to convince her he’s not going to get addicted again, to tell her how he got off the ‘nip in the first place and what he’s still doing to stay off of it. Joe decides he’ll do that when both have cooled down.
Read Log Stormcrow is ready to let Tessie and Dr. Greenbox examine the orb. Stormcrow calls up the MBI to inform them that she’s safe and all and is told to stay put by Jase. After hanging up, Tessie goes to check the orb by merging with it, but at her mere touch the orb blackens and turns to ash. Seems that it was ready to do that once in contact with a cyberbeing. Greenbox saves the ashes of the device and goes to take them to Puma-Dyne where he knows someone who can analyze them in hopes they can learn something about the orb.
Jase calls up Ann asking to speak with her privately outside the MBI. They meet at the cafe’ near Megakat University where they used to go and Jase slips her a note informing her of Jack Spinner and his visit. She agrees to meet with him after work to look up information on him with Jase.
Dark Kat, Spinner and Rilth have a villainous conference where the three discuss progression of things and all. Stormcrow is a problem Spinner wants solved and he also wants to experiment on her. All three keep things from one another like typical villains and plans are worked out, one including the future release af Madkat who will serve as a diversion.
Protocol and McGrath finish their conversation and it seems Protocol can’t bring herself to kill McGrath. She returns to the desert facility where Rilth has arrived from the meeting. Rilth tells her to find Stormcrow and bring her in for Spinner as she’s become a huge risk. Protocol does so, managing to find her since the orb is gone and a slight trace of Stormcrow’s power is noted. Protocol enters the apartment where Tessie defends Stormcrow and soon takes Stormcrow outta there, eludes Protocol and goes to the safe location that Greenbox arranged should Dark Kat come.
Read Log Mark calls a meeting at the MBI where most agents attend. Once meeting was called to order, Trina announces she’s stepping down from her lieutenant position, demoting herself to regular agent status. No one will replace her as of now. The status of the cases going on is briefly dicussed, though not enough for Sypher’s liking to make a more thurough report to Dark Kat.
After meeting, Fletch goes to Trina’s office to ask her why she had herself demoted. She says it was personal and she didn’t feel she could lead. The two discuss her new case concerning the ‘project’ of Dark Kat’s, the cyberdemons. Trina shares the information Glitch gave her with him and he’s finding it hard to believe, that is until Glitch herself shows up outta Trina’s computer to inform her of the situation with Stormcrow.
Protocol takes up Rilth’s suggestion of going to the MBI to work there as Sypher is. She changes to look like her regular self (instead of the black fur ‘n hair of cyberdemons) and posing as Ana Lytikat, applies for a position. Sypher is who she contacts and asks him about Stormcrow. Since she hasn’t been there, Sypher is unaware of where Stormcrow’s location so Protocol orders him to question around about her whereabouts.
Read Log Jason and Ann go to the NSA HQ to interview Spinner, Jase disguised as Ann’s camerakat. Ann asks questions of why the NSA are investigating the MBI to which Spinner says it is because there are some individuals who are out to attack the city. During the interview, Jase accidentally knocks over some things including Spinner’s jacket. He secretly searches it finding a strange remote which he keeps. After the interview, he and Ann leave scott free until some agents try to detain Jase. He and Ann zoom outta there and lead the NSA agents on a chase down the highway. Jase eventually gives himself up after telling Ann about the remote and all. Ann takes it to the MBI and gives it and a copy of a court order Spinner gave her concerning the investigation the NSA is doing at the MBI. Later Trina calls the SKs and brings it to the yard for them to examine.
Meanwhile, Joseph gets a call from Derringer. Derringer wants Joe to pick up a couple crates of ‘nip and store at his house as some last minute thing came up and he needs them safe and sound. Joe agrees and contacts Mark who orders him to go ahead and do it, and that Joe is back on the case and an agent again. Joe and Josie go and get the crates and take them to his house where they store them in the basement. Josie worries about Joe being okay with them there, but since Mark knows about this then she trusts Joe to them.
Glitch, who is out at the time, is overcome by a random cyberdemon. The cyberdemon takes her to Rilth where her powers are disabled for a time. Rilth demands to know where Greenbox and Stormcrow are but Glitch refuses to say. Rilth offers her and Greenbox immunity from Dark Kat’s attacks and all if she gets Stormcrow. Glitch says she’ll go get her but Rilth wants to go with her in case this is a trick. Glitch insists on going alone and Rilth restors her powers, allowing her to leave. Protocol follows Glitch and the two fight it out inside as Protocol merged and tried to take Glitch over. Unfortunately, Protocol opened that virus program file and it infected her immediately. Zapping out of Glitch, Protocol couldn’t fight it off and reverted back to her former cyberdemon like status. Confused and memories disconnected, Glitch is able to control Protocol and has her go back to spy on Rilth for Dark Kat, and tells her Rilth is not to know of this at all.
Protocol obeys and when she returns to the desrt base, it seems Rilth has been ordered to ready Dark Kat’s troops and machines for deployment. Protocol’s sent up to a satellite while the other cyberdemons go about their buisness, all waiting for the orders to move out.
Also McGrath helped Jase escape NSA custody before they could identify him, thusly allowing Jake to call Jase the next day.
Read Log Jake calls up the MBI and tells Jase the remote appears to have been made by Dark Kat. Also inside of it is a GPS which has given them the locations of many of Dark Kat’s lairs as well as acess key codes to get into them. Chance faxes over the list they wrote down and Jase thanks them, telling them to hold onto the remote for now.
Glitch has gone to the MBI to inform them of what’s happened with Greenbox and Stormcrow who are hidden safe from Dark Kat. She also informs her of what happened with Rilth and Protocol, saying that she’ll relay any information Protocol sends her immediately.
Just then, the boys get a call from Callie who was visited by McGrath. McGrath tells her to call them and so the two heroes set out in the Turbokat right quick to see what this is about as Callie wasn’t able to tell them.
Read Log The SWAT Kats arrive and speak with McGrath while Callie listens. McGrath informs them of Dark Kat and his team up with Rilth, as well as reveals himself to be the source of help lately to them. After informing them of what they must do, T-Bone and Razor head off to follow instructions.
Joe and Josie discuss what Mark’s orders are concerning the Derringer case. They along with Fletch are to infiltrate and take down Derringer, despite this letting this Enzo go.
Stormcrow’s friend Abexami Kgosi comes to the MBI looking for her as he hasn’t heard from her in a long while with her having to hide out from the NSA.
Later McGrath goes to where Greenbox, Glitch and Stormcrow are hiding out and informs them of the situation. They all head out to the MBI for further orders and for all to get a game plan together concerning Dark Kat and his army before the attack begins.
Read Log The agents are all caught up on what’s going on and move out to the location provided by McGrath. Dark Kat begins his attack on Megakat City, one that the Megs nor the city will easily forget…
Read Log The MBI engages in battle to stop Dark Kat, Rilth and hopefully prevent the catastrophic event that was predicted to lead to the world’s end…
(End of Rilth/Latifrons arc.)
Read Log Agents return slowly to the Bureau after the success in stopping Dark Kat. Commander Feral arrives to congradulate Mark on his team’s achievement, though that isn’t the only reason he’s there. The Enforcers take McGrath into their custody and transfer him to Enforcer HQ. He doesn’t seem to upset about it however and the agents let him be.
Read Log The city is beginning repairs and clean up after the robotic attack on Megakat City. Many Megs are out with the Enforcers aiding in the search and rescue efforts. Hans returns to the MBI now to check in and finds Tasha at her desk. The two talk some about what all happened to one another then head to the breakroom for coffee where seems the only other agent around besides them is at, Ashcoat.
Mark takes Josie with him to a budgeting meeting that Deputy Mayor Briggs asked him along with several other big whigs and higher ups involved in the city and on the city council. She explains that due to the success of the MBI despite their underfunded and poorly equipped agents, that she and City Hall feels that the MBI can do loads more for the city if they are properly funded. Mark’s told that the MBI will recieve $5 million dollars in funding as well as a helicopter for quicker response to situations. Mark is dumbfounded and goes back to the MBI with Josie where he elludes to the good news to the three Megs there, saying he’ll tell them all in a meeting later.
Jason comes back from one of many interviews Mark set him up with for the media. Frustrated and tired, Jase decides to head on home and go to bed where Mark later calls him about the budget. Joe is still with Trina in the hospital who’s making a nice recovery from her gunshot wound.
Mark gets a phone call then saying that the MBI’s chopper is waiting pick up at the Metal Salvage Yard. He sends Hans and Tasha to go get it, but when they arrive, the two mechanics (Jake and Chance of course ;D) show them a rather beat up looking helicopter. It’s seen better days as it’s full of bullet holes and dents, the interior not much better. Jake and Chance assure them that it will fly as they repaired it enough for that, but they don’t have the time to fix it up further.
Tasha lets Hans take it back, as the two previously discussed her fear of heights before arriving at the Salvage Yard. She goes in her car while Hans takes the chopper back towards the MBI. Lets hope it doesn’t fall apart on him along the way. ;D
Read Log Mark and Jason both get a look at the chopper the MBI was given. Mark is furious and Jase just breaks down with laughter about it (I think the stress of dealing with the media’s gotten to him ;D). Mark goes to contact City Hall about this development while Tasha and an upset Hans go downstairs. Jase and Hans have a discussion in the hallway, Tasha out with them listening, when suddenly the MBI is hit by several different kats with crews. Said crews begin various repairs and upgrades to the MBI’s interior and exterior and a Jane Simms who’s an advertising agent goes to meet with Mark about getting the Bureau a more distinquished logo and all. Uniforms and weapons are also delievered and put in the gym for the time being as an overwhelmed Jason isn’t sure where to put them with all the work now going on. He tells Tasha and Hans they might as well cut out early as no work can be done with all the noise.
Jenna Clawson however arrives before they go and confronts Jase about her still missing anti-matter engine drive. Just as he’s about to stall her one more time, the SWAT Kats show up and deliver the used drive to them. Unfortunately, after their use the drive is in damaged with the explination that they used it to save the world in keeping the Latifrons from arriving. Jenna is outraged at them for ruining it and the two SWAT Kats leave in a hurry. Jenna turns her anger towards Jase as the drive just falls apart completely and threatens him bodily harm. Tasha (who is now no longer amused) pulls her off of Jase and Jase makes a proposition to pay for it. Jenna doesn’t know of the funding and demands 2 million dollars… and a date with Jase. He reluctantly agrees as Jenna says she’ll raise the price and later calls Ann up to apologize for this as Jenna wants to keep going out with Jase on dates until the money is given to her in full. Ann doesn’t like it much, but she says she’ll deal with it. After Jenna leaves and Puma-Dyne picks up the remains of the anti-matter drive, Tasha and Hans finally leave early and head on out on a date of their own.
Read Log A construction worker informs Hans (since the Director and Captain were out) that the renovations to the basement have been completed. Hans goes downstairs to the dreded basement to find that it is like a whole new place with state of the art equipment for the Megs to use. The basement itself is highly secured with the latest in identification with key card, iris scan and fingerprint identifyer. The lights come on and go off automatically to save power. Downstairs there’s now a firing range that “pops” out when needed and goes back when agents are through using it. The armory is now down there as well with the weapons at the Megs’ disposal and the evidence room has been relocated down there too though that’s needing to be moved by the MBI themselves. Hans was quite impressed as this rivals anything the Enforcers have for an organization of their size. The chopper up on the roof’s landing pad has also had an addition with new communications system but the chopper itself needs work still.
As Hans examined the chopper’s new comm system, he heard a report on the radio about small strange green creatures being seen at Megakat Mall causing trouble. Hans hurried down and found the nearest agent to go on this call which was Tasha who just arrived for duty. Tasha drives them down to the Mall where they at first don’t see any signs of trouble save for pushy kiosk workers and tripping patrons. Soon things look suspicious and the two go further into the mall to see an unseen force seemingly knocking folks over. Stormcrow and Bexa are also at the mall and they too noted the strangeness.
When one kiosk falls over from one of the unseen things, an UV lamp falls to the floor and shines its light out, revealing a plantimal! It seems these things were made to be invisible and they are searching for something, or someone. The Megs along with Bexa and Stormcrow attempt to take out the plantimals which makes for a hard task even while seen. They eventually get rid of most of them but Tasha is grabbed by a few of them and injured with their barbs on the legs. They get the plantimals off her which soon run away. Tasha insists she’s fine and doesn’t need to see a doctor, the wounds heal right up. Enforcer backup arrives led by Felina Feral and they take the cleanup fron there.
Hans and Tasha leave the scene but not before talking with Stormcrow, asking her why she hasn’t reported back to work. Stormcrow says it is because of what Josie said, about how her being underage and not having permission from a parent or guardian would get the Bureau in trouble. Hans and Tasha tell her if she can’t get Bexa to be her guardian, go talk to the Director or Captain about it and ignore Josie. If she doesn’t do that, they invite her back to the MBI for visits which she says she’ll think about.
Read Log Things are nearing completion at the MBI and Jason sits in his office trying to figure out the best way to pay off Jenna for that anti-matter drive without dipping into the MBI’s new funds. Just then, Jenna herself enters the MBI, early for their date that night. The two talk, Jason dreading going out with her, when a fax comes in. It mentions the inmate (McGrath) that the MBI caught and transferred over to the Enforcers with detailed information and confirmation that he’s still locked up. Jase goes to change for the date and Jenna takes a peek at the fax, frowning when she sess that it was this inmate who apparently stole her anti-matter drive.
Jase returns ready to go out and makes a proposition to give Jenna a check for a million dollars now, funds from the band who understand his prediciment and don’t mind helping out. Jenna takes the check but says the deal was that he would go on dates with her until the rest of it is paid. Another fax comes in before the two leave concerning Dr. Viper’s recent escape from Alkatraz prison, but Jase will handle that when he returns.
Apon Jenna’s insistance, Jason takes her to a five-star restaurant for their date. Despite not having reservations, Jenna gets them in by slipping the host a $20 and soon the two are seated and waited on. While they wait for their meal, Jason asks Jenna why on earth she’s picked him of all toms to like. He feels something brush against his leg, Jenna does too, and when she begins to explain why, Jason feels another something brush against his leg. Thinking it’s her playing footsie, he stands up outraged about to tell her he’s had enough when a waiter falls over, trays crash to the floor.
Read Log Josie and Fletch lie in wait in their positions upstairs in Joe’s house as the plan to arrest Derringer is underway. Tasha made the dinner before she left and soon Derringer arrives when he said he would. However he’s not alone as they had planned. Accompanying him is the purple haired she-kat Joe, Fletch and Josie saw that first night they made a drop off of ‘nip for Derringer.
The meal begins but the she-kat and Joe exchange heated words. Taking this opportunity for distraction, Fletch and Josie move downstairs quickly and confront the group. Derringer and Joe have it out while the she-kat and Fletch fight. Josie is unable to fire at either villain with them being so close to her fellow Megs. Derringer is taken down though, but the she-kat escapes using a masking smoke bomb. The rest hurry out of Joe’s house and out to a car where Derringer’s taken to the MBI. They may have arrested him but the she-kat got away, leaving only a knife wound to Fletch’s arm. Only name they know her by is “Kat” which Derringer called her during the meal.
Joe takes a moment to collect himself before going after the crates of ‘nip and he and Josie talk for a bit. After making sure he’s okay, Josie goes to get herself some coffee and donuts. Fletch goes to the infirmary where he patches up his arm. Hans enters the infirmary, having been scratched by some shoplifter, and Fletch tells him about the arrest on Derringer and all. Fletch goes to the breakroom and Hans goes to find Tasha to see if she’s heard of this yet and the two enter the breakroom.
While Tasha goes to make coffee, her strength seems to be very powerful, uncontrollably so as simple moves cause destruction. She opened the cabinent doors and ripped them clean off their henges, then tossed one aside which flew and embedded itself into the wall across the room. Fletch and Hans try to figure out what caused this, and Hans calms her and tells her she should go to a doctor to see what this is about. The only thing he could think of that might be a connection is the plantimals that got her the other day as nothing else strange has happened to Tasha.
Read Log New recruits Tygris Makenzy and Tabytha Strayer are introduced to the MBI and given a tour of the place by Fletch and Stormcrow.
Jenna and Jase’s date continues but the restaurant they’re at is attacked by more of Viper’s plantimals. Jase kills a few of them but one manages to get Jenna by the ankles and cuts her with those barbs. Like Tasha, Jenna’s heal up quickly but Jase takes Jenna to the hospital and heads back to HQ.
Sypher leads Matrix back near the MBI, telling Matrix he might want to speak with Glitch about leaving Dark Kat.
Hans schedules Tasha a doctor’s appointment and both go in to see him at Megakat Memorial Hospital. The guy can’t even take her blood as her skin is so strong it breaks the needle. After x-ray, the doc says that a Dr. Konway might be the only one to help her with this sudden density in bone and muscle and her super strength. Tasha is to see Konway the next day.
Read Log Dr. Konway calls up Tasha and gets her to come in for that doctor’s visit. Once there, he uses a matter extractor to remove a sample of her blood to test. He informs her and Hans of three others girls he’s seen with the same condition, all of which have disappeared now. Hans and Tasha agree to look for the missing girls. The pair leave, only to notice Dr. Viper watching them again. The pair take after him and corner him on a roof. He says that Tasha is part of one of his projects he’s taken over from someone else, then he jumps off the roof and disappears. Hans and Tasha are confused and upset, and go back to Dr. Konway to get him to look up any info he might have on projects like that. They then go on back to HQ.
Meanwhile, the MBI recieves a fax from Enforcer HQ about some missing she-kats. Josie agrees to go to the TV station and put out a bulletin to all she-kats to be on the lookout for a possible threat to them, while Fletch and Trina load up to go investigate the first of the missing girl’s houses. Once there they find the house well kept but a nasty smell coming from it. Upon further inspection they find a dead, and decaying plantimal under her bed. They bag it and head back to HQ to store it away for further evidence.
Fletch then remembers he was supposed to call about the project that McGrath had told Stormcrow about. He calls up the Defence Center and asks about UB3R, only to recieve a threat of imprisonment and fines if he asks again. Hans and Tasha happen by as he’s talking on the phone, and the three start discussing whats going on. They find that they are possibly all intertwinned into one massive case, and they decide the best thing to do now is to talk to McGrath himself. The three load up on the MBI’s less than impressive helicopter and fly out to Megakat Springs Penetientiary.
Once there they talk with McGrath about the project. They find out he got his info from a truck driver that was an inmate there. Seems he was carrying a load of stuff from Megakat Biochemical to the Defence Center when he was given new orders to go to a remote location and wait for pickup. Turns out someone attacked his truck though and stole UB3R. It was blamed on Viper, and the driver was accused of working with Viper. Then, just after telling McGrath of all this, the driver turns up in a coma from an allergic reaction to peanuts, which were strictly removed from the driver’s diet. McGrath smells a conspiracy in all this, but he’s not sure what. The Megs tell him then of Tasha’s reaction to her encounter with the plantimal. McGrath tells them this is similar in effects to a Super Soldier Serum, and that it sounds like she is part of this project which is most likely highly illegal which is why she-kats are being attacked by the plantimals. He suspects the Defence Center’s involvment in it. He says they should ask Glitch for help in finding out what the Defence Center’s involvment is in it all since she could hack their computers.
The three leave the penetientairy a bit more shook up, but more enlightened on what is going on. As they head back though, they are confronted by two black helicopters that start shooting at them. They escape mostly unscathed, though Tasha takes a bullet to the chest, which miraculously tore her BPV to shreds but didn’t harm her at all. In shock, the three land back at HQ, and Hans hurries Tasha inside. The three decide to call Glitch as McGrath said to ask for her help.
Read Log Hans calls up Glitch and gets her to come in to help. She shows up and talks with him and Tasha, then agrees to help. She hacks into the Defence Center’s computers and finds only cooridinates for a helicopter pad out in the swamp. Hans and Tasha thank her, then load up to go investigate. Once there they find a few abandoned, and ransacked buildings that have seen better days and appear to have had a fire in them.
Meanwhile, some kats in black bust down the door to Professor Jenna Clawson’s lab. They tranquilize her and take her out and away in their helicopter. They land out in the swamp beside the MBI helicopter. Hans and Tasha hide, for sure these kats will come looking for them. Instead they ignore the chopper completely, and dump Jenna out, then leave. Hans and Tasha go to check her over but as they do, vines start coming to life and attacking them, trying to take Jenna. The pair grab Jenna and get her in the chopper and start to leave, only to see Dr. Viper controlling the vines. He orders his “pets” to grab both Jenna and Tasha. The vines wrap around the helicopter but Hans mananages to fly outta there finally and back to HQ.
Back at HQ, Fletch informs Trina of what happened the previous day. Stunned, they decide they had best get to the other two houses to investigate. Once there, they run into a kat in black trying to clean up any left over plantimals from the attack on one of the missing girls. They chase the guy, and exchange gunfire with him, only to lose him when he jumps into a black van that carries him away. They don’t lose him completely though as he drops his gun. Fletch notes it still has a serial number on it they can run. The pair hurry and go to the next house before going back to HQ, only to find it having already been cleaned out by the kats in black. The pair go back to HQ and Fletch goes to do a search on the gun.
Stormcrow and Tygris meet up once more in the lobby, and both go in search of the Director. Mark pulls them both in and after meeting his new recruit, he talks with Stormcrow on her past, and what she’s to do now. He lets her stay to work there, and sends her to help Tygris learn his way around. The pair view the building then go for ice cream outside at a vendor. Afterwards, they head back inside and Tygris goes to find Fletch.
He finds Fletch in the computer room doing a search on the gun. Fletch finds that the gun is registered to the Defence Department, definitly linking them to the plantimals and missing girls. Tygris goes off then to put the gun away in the evidence locker and log it. Fletch returns to the desk room.
Hans and Tasha bring in a rather upset Jenna. Tasha gets her to shower in the locker room, and into some clean jogging pants and t-shirt. Jenna throws a fit though and demands to have her own clothes brought there after the megs got her to agree to stay put there at HQ for her own safety. Tasha agrees to go get them finally, and the pair go to the deskroom where Hans and Fletch are talking. Fletch has told him of the gun and all that him and Trina found. Tasha gives Jenna a pen to write down her address, only to have Jenna break the pen just as she had done. They all warn Jenna to be careful, who finally in an argument with Tasha, winds up breaking her desk with a well placed fist on the top. Tasha goes to leave but Hans won’t let her, saying its too dangerous. She finally agrees to let him go, and then goes back to pick up the pieces of the desk. Jenna and Fletch talk while Tasha grummbles and picks up her desk.
Read Log Tasha and Jenna both spent the night at the MBI HQ. Jenna meets Tygris and through him finds Jase (who was warned of Jenna’s presence by Tasha) to harrass until Jase gets a phonecall from the Warden at Megakat Springs Prison. Seems that “John Doe”, aka McGrath, had an “accident” that resulted in his death. Rocks had come down on him and he’s believed to be buried under them.
Felina sends Trina a video via email of Viper’s breakout from Enforcer custody. Seems some kats in black blew up their way in and got him out of there. Fletch recognizes them from his and Trina’s investigation at one of the missing she-kat’s aprtments where they found the dead plantimal.
Tygris goes to the prison to investigate the death of McGrath for the MBI. He talks with a Major Sphinx who shows him the scene where a large rock fell on McGrath. The rock was moved aside and some blood stains were there but no body by the time Tygris arrived. Doesn’t think it was an accident thought, and Sphinx gives him information on it. When Tygris returns, he and Fletch go over Sphinx’s information.
Jenna sneaks out of the MBI building to contact a guy named “Tony” concerning some weapons she was to sell. In the middle of her phone call, some kats in black appear and kidnap her, later depositing her in the swamp near Viper’s lair. She wakes up only to be drug off by vines, despite her super strengthed efforts to get away from them. She is drug to Dr. Viper’s swampy lair where he explains he needs her to extract her blood to see how his experiment with the UB3R serum is going.
Tasha tries to contact the defense center to get some information out of them about the UB3R serum. They of course pretend not to know what she’s talking about. Soon after, a black helicopter flies over the MBI and Tasha and Fletch take a look from the lobby. Before the kats in black fire, Tasha flings a stapler at the chopper. With her super strength, it has quite an impact and along with Fletch’s shots, sends the chopper off to crash nearby. The two then hurry to the scene and arrest three of those kats in black and take them to holding.
They interrogate one of them who tells them he’s a security guard at the defense center and being forced to do this against his will as they’ve threatened his family. He goes on to explain that it was he and his other agents who desposited the plantimals about the city and are ordered some someone high in administration to get the “tagged” she-kats that were bitten. He tells them that the next drop off is to happen the next day and about what they do with the she-kats after taking them, dropping ‘em off at the swamp where they don’t know what happens then. Fletch gets to work on seeing to it this guy’s family is made safe and Tasha takes him to holding.
Jenna meanwhile manages to get free and she threatens Viper saying she wants an antidote. Insulted, Viper asks why she’d want to as she’s now strong, unable to get disease, and after Jenna asks, informs her too her aging process may also be slowed. Jenna thinks on this from a positive angle and decides she wouldn’t mind staying like this. She makes a deal with Viper that if he lets her leave the swamp, she’ll remain so he can test her blood until he’s done.
Read Log Felina arrives at MBI HQ to speak with them about the helicopter crash and asks what the agents know. Stormcrow, Tasha and Hans greet her where Hans lets Tasha explain what happened, or at least Tasha would if not for the cell phone in one of the evidence boxes they got from those kats in black hadn’t started ringing. Tasha answers it and apparently some guy was wanting a “Woodward” who wants the kats in black to go and make a drop off that the interrogated defense center guy mentioned.
Felina lets them investigate saying she’ll be ready as back up. Stormcrow, Tasha and Hans use the defense center kats’ uniforms to disguise themselves and then paint the MBI’s chopper up quickly to infiltrate as the regular guys. They go and help the others let loose plantimals at Megakat Plaza, or they make it like they do as in reality they knock the plantimals out with some gas from evidence and load them up onto their chopper to take back to EHQ. Unfortunately, they don’t get the chance as they are threatened for being killed if they don’t head back with the other chopper that went with them for the drop off and so they must follow the defense center’s chopper to the Defense Center.
The three Megs arrive and keep their cool after hiding the plantimals in their chopper. They do what the other defense kats do and line up to wait for someone. Turns out that Jack Spinner is alive and working there at the Defense Center as it is he that greets them. He lectures them on making smoother transactions and such then dismisses them. Seeing as they best behave to not rise suspicion until they can make a move to exit, Stormcrow, Tasha and Hans go inside the center.
They do a bit of snooping and come across Spinner’s office. Stormcrow uses her teleportation power to get inside and lets Hans and Tasha in. The three look around and find files and even diagrams of plans on Spinner’s markerboard there. The three take as many papers as they can and as they are about to leave, Spinner returns. Jerking him inside, the three of them shut the door and interrogate him. Seems Spinner is being forced to work for the defense center as payment for them getting him out of prison and all. They learn more about the Defense Center’s team up with Viper but Spinner tries to get free of them and Hans misfires. Tasha restrains him with her uber strength and the facility is put on alert at hearing the gunfire.
The Megs take Spinner and usher him out, making it to their chopper where they flee the facility. Tasha keeps any who go after them off their tails and they make it with Spinner back to the MBI where they put him in holding until later. They contact Enforcer HQ to get the plantimals.
Read Log Whee! Glad I even made it to this night as we have a few tornadoes in the area earlier that evening a couple hours before RPG time. XD They’re saying we’ll have storms tomorrow too which I hope will wait until after PK and I get back from the movies but be done with before 10 or 11pm EST at least. XD So notice that I may be late was my point on this. Anywho, the summary! Apologies for slacking off.
Next day, Tasha and Hans are going over the information they stole from Spinner’s office at the Defense Center. It talks about a Katalyst X-66, has maps to various drop off places for delivery, Defense Center interior and the swamp pointing out Dr. Viper’s lair among other informative things. Jase comes in to see what they’ve found out and then goes to speak with Spinner himself in holding. Spinner of course wasn’t very helpful. Tygris talked with Stormcrow about what occurred yesterday and goes to the deskroom to help Tasha and Hans look over the information.
Viper finishes perfecting the serum as well as its antidote and contacts Spinner, or rather calls his cell phone which is in the MBI’s possession. Hans picks it up and fakes like he’s Spinner, Viper none the wiser. Viper tells ‘Spinner’ that he better bring katalyst X-66 as promised for the trade off. After hanging up with Hans, Viper lets Jenna leave as he doesn’t need her any longer. Jenna heads on out, leaving the other three she-kat test subjects behind (she don’t care about them XD) and starts making her way towards Puma-Dyne.
Jase sends Tasha and Hans off to Viper’s lair disguised as two of the Defense Center’s agents. They arrive and meet with Viper where the exchange is made, however Hans’ fake katalyst is soon discovered as really being kool-aid and Viper retaliates. Tasha moves in to try and take him down using her super strength but Viper uses a vial of the antidote on her then rushes out after Hans manages to wound him with a shot. A fire is started in the place and Tasha and Hans forgo Viper for the moment to get the three unconscious she-kat test subjects out and to the chopper. Making sure Tasha is alright, Hans lets her secure the she-kats while he goes after Viper’s trail. The two face off a moment by a river and Hans gets the antidote along with the already obtained serum but looses a wounded Viper to the river where his body is swept off. Hans returns to the chopper with the antidote and he with Tasha take the she-kats to the hospital as well as have Tasha checked in to make sure she’s doing okay.
Meanwhile Jase takes Stormcrow with him and they head out to Puma-Dyne to speak with Dr. Konway to see how far he’s gotten with those plantimal samples they had sent in. Stormcrow goes in while Jase makes some phonecalls and speaks with Dr. Konway herself who informs her how the serum was put into the plantimals and how it got into a kat’s system via its tongue barbs. He goes off to get her more detailed information on file. Jenna, who had returned to her office at Puma-Dyne and cleaned up somewhat by then, ran into Stormcrow and Dr. Konway who explained that he can’t yet make an antidote as the sample in the plantimals isn’t complete.
After the conversation with Konway, Jenna shows Stormcrow out. She asks Stormcrow if anyone has come by or called the Bureau looking for her but Stormcrow says no and asks why would they. Jenna gives her a line about having many dates and then shoves her out the doors a bit roughly as she uses her super strength to send the poor gal flying. Stormcrow wasn’t aware Jenna had been one of those attacked too and so she goes to inform Jase about that as well as what Konway told her when giving him the files.
Read Log Tasha’s recovered well at Megakat Memorial hospital and while she’s waiting to be released, Felina Feral arrives to speak with her about what went on and informs her the other she-kats are a-okay. The News reports on the latest happenings with Viper, the plantimals and the NSA’s involvement (though they decline knowledge). Seems the warden was arrested as well at Megakat Penetentiary for his involvement in the deaths of two inmates.
He was in league with Spinner and turns out was the one who called Spinner when Tasha left with Hans and Fletch. Unfortunately, Felina herself is unsure of who the head guy is behind all of this, as everything seems to stop at Spinner. Felina leaves after congradulating Tasha and the MBI on another job well done, and Joe later takes Tasha home.
Sypher and Glitch had a long conversation about what it means to be free of Dark Kat and Glitch finally convinces Sypher to leave Dark Kat for good. Sypher isn’t sure though what to do with himself otherwise and Glitch offers he look up information on the ‘net to see if something intrests him. Sypher decides to do this and weigh his options. He ponders working for the MBI, but isn’t sure they’d trust him or not, and Glitch offers to talk to them for him as they trust her. Sypher says he’ll think about it.
Josie arrives for work and sees Stormcrow has returned to her receptionist position at the front desk in the lobby. The two exchange words, Josie’s critical of course, when Tygris steps up to defend Stormcrow. Josie gets annoyed with this “rookie” and they part company in annoyance of one another. A bit later Tygris apologize to Stormcrow for butting in but she says its fine.
McGrath, having indeed not died as all had thought, arrives at the docks slightly injured. There are some kats there taking care of some illegal merchandise and weaponry. McGrath talks to who seems to be the head honcho, a kat named Tony who sells him an extremely powerful laser weapon, one of which aren’t too many of out in the market. After the sale, he heads to the MBI where he’s greeted by Stormcrow and Tygris. Not recognizing McGrath at first, they disarm him and Stormcrow explains a bit about who he is. McGrath patches himself up and Josie sees him and has him go to one of the holding cells across from Spinner.
Tony, who McGrath just dealt with, calls up Jenna and glad to finally have an answer, asks her where she’s been and all. She says she’ll explain and meets up with Tony with her shipment of high tech weaponry at the docks. After demonstrating her newfound super strength, Tony decides to take her to see his father, Mr. Antonio Katpone himself. The two meet and talk things over and Jenna agrees to help him get ahold of the formular somehow or at least enough information for him to have it made. HE in turn will continue buying from her and has even offered her protection as well as an incintive to come for soley for him which she’s declined for the moment.
Read Log Tasha’s back at work feeling fine and no longer suped up.
Feral comes in with several Enforcers and takes Spinner away where he’ll be held in Enforcer custody.
Jenna calls up Katpone to make a deal with him as she’ll be borrowing some thugs for a bank heist that’ll bring the SWAT Kats out (or she hopes).
McGrath offers to help the MBI and Jase says he’ll talk with Sulfur about getting him to be an agent and later hopefully earning a pardon. Josie’s not to happy about it and Jase sits her down to talk things out.
Read Log Trina has a slumber party inviting all the female MBI agents. Those that were able to make it were Stormcrow, Tasha and Josie. Things are a bit tense at first until Hertz arrives as Trina’s nosy neighbors called the MBI to get them to “quiet down the noise”. Hertz ends up bursting through and causing a mess. The girls all swarm him and taunt him as he believes unholy cult like things happen at girls’ slumber parties. Fletch, who had come with Hertz, goes upstairs to greet the girls and apologizes for Hertz. They invite both of them to stay when Hertz is calmed down and all.
Read Log While Hans and Tasha talk in the breakroom about the latest, Jason takes McGrath to Sulfur’s office. There, Sulfur questions McGrath to see whether or not he should let McGrath out and become an agent with the MBI. Sulfur is satisfied and decides to give McGrath a chance, as well as a requested office in one onf the storage rooms in the basement for McGrath to use.
Callie Briggs and someone from MBC Studios calls the MBI and speaks with Tasha and Hans. Seems that Commander Feral and David Litterbin have gone missing. Tasha and Hans go out to investigate and find that both Feral and Litterbin’s residences have been broken into, signs of a struggle left behind suggest both were kidnapped, but by who isn’t so easily determined. Tasha and Hans head back to the MBI to report this.
McGrath goes to the main desk area where he’s confronted by an angry Josie for his newfound status. Trina manages to keep Josie down and McGrath leaves, later to return to the girls with a file memo of Spinner’s that pertains to kinapping high profile kats and make it look like it wasn’t by an organized group. The three discuss this and the phone rings as Callie has called again to inform the MBI about Mayor Manx being missing as well.
Read Log Tasha and Hans get back to the MBI as Trina, McGrath and Josie are discussing the memo. They inform the others about Feral and Litterbin, to which the agents think about why these three kats would have gone missing. They realize the one thing they have in common, and that is they, along with Briggs, were once captured by Madkat as part of his revenge plot when he took over Lenny Ringtail.
Trina, Tasha and Hans head out to City Hall thinking that Madkat will show up for Callie next while Josie and McGrath say behind to check on Ringtail’s status at Megakat Asylum. Seems Ringtail is still in his cell, but McGrath warns that they might need to check regardless. Sure enough Ringtail is there, but upon closer inspection inside the cell, they find that he’s not there, that it is a hologram of him. The door shuts trapping McGrath and Josie in the cell.
Meanwhile, Trina, Tasha and Hans arrive at City Hall where they are in time to see Callie being kidnapped out her window to the roof by some mysterious figure. Trina and Tasha rush to the roof where they see Feral, Litterbin and Manx tied up to spires up there. The figure turns out to be Spinner himself, and Trina questions him on what he’s doing while Spinner holds Callie hostage. Hans reaches the roof as well but Madkat himself appears as apparently Spinner had wanted. Tasha and Hans free the three kats but Madkat takes them and Callie into his box. However, before they could get Madkat, the Pastmaster of all kats shows up. He and Madkat get into a magic duel of grand proportions and during the frey, Trina vanishes. The only kat Hans and Tasha managed to save was a groggy Feral whom they take back with them to the MBI.
No sooner than they had arrived, Josie and McGrath had also returned after getting out of the Asylum. Suddenly a blinding light engulfs the city and shines throughout the building while the ground quakes. Afterwards, the agents all find themselves and the MBI in some strange place, as if they were seperated from reality in a colorful abyss…
Read Log The Megs are in some kind of alternate reality and heading towards a vortex that might very well destroy them. However, McGrath retrieves that alien tech of his and uses it as a time traveling device where he manages to send everyone back to the Dark Ages during Queen Callista’s reign in Megalith City. After debate, Mark sends out Stormcrow, Tasha, McGrath and Hans to go find the nearest village to try and determine if they are indeed in that time period as McGrath suspects.
The four head on out from the building (the whole MBI building was transported with them) and into some nearby woods. Along the way, they meet a she-kat who tells them how to get to Megalith which is the nearest city. They follow her directions by going left at the fork in the road, but instead of finding the kingdom, they run into a cave. Rain starts up with a violent thunderstorm, so the agents enter the cave.
Inside the cave, the four soon realize the she-kat had set a trap, and isn’t a she-kat at all but a demoness out to take their souls. McGrath recognizes her as Swytch (though not as powerful and less advanced) from a previous time in the future. Hans moves to try and get out of the cave with the others but is blasted back KOed. Tasha and Stormcrow fight Swytch and discover that the source of her power seems to be the many bottles which contain souls of mortals on the shelves about the large cave room. They begin breaking them and Swytch uses the rest to power up after getting attacked by McGrath too. The three drag Hans out and make haste, exiting the cave. McGrath left a live grenade in there which goes off after the Megs are out, causing a cave in which traps Swytch inside, possibly crushing her.
They revive Hans and mend their wounds then set out to double back and make for the right path that will hopefully lead them towards Megalith. They manage to do so as night continues on, arriving at some wheat fields after finally leaving the forest.
Read Log Along the way to Megalith, Stormcrow, Tasha, McGrath and Hans run into two mischevious kat sprites. One, Tansy, was able to control the wind while the other, Annasa, was able to control water. The two sprite sisters wanted to play with the Megs, despite their protests. McGrath does a trick with a disappearing quarter to distract them, which also ends up catching the eye of Lady Katrina, a bodyguard to Queen Callista who was out watching from a tree. Katrina was alarmed at the trick and the Megs’ clothes, and threatened them, assuming they were invaders. This distraction allows McGrath to take out the sprites but soon he is tackled by Katrina.
The agents plead their case, saying they’re from the far off land of Katlumbia and are in search of shelter. They too have been wronged by the Pastmaster, and so Katrina trusts them and leads them all to Megalith. There Queen Callista meets with the Megs and allows them to stay for a few days. Should they prove to be treacherous, they will be tossed in the dungeons. The Megs are led to rooms where they wash, change clothes (into more timely fashions), and have a bit to eat.
McGrath talks with the others some and it is decided that he and Stormcrow will go out later in the evening to a nearby tavern to seek information on the Pastmaster while Tasha and Hans remain at the castle in case the Pastmaster shows up. All the agents lay down to rest.
Read Log Stormcrow and McGrath got ready to go to a nearby tavern after a bit of rest. Before they could leave, they were attacked by those two elemental “pixie” kats Tansy and Assana again. McGrath dropped a smoke bomb which seemed to diminish the two elementals’ powers and gave McGrath and Stormcrow an easy retreat.
Once reaching the tavern, the pair order ciders (which are more stout than Stormcrow realized ;D) and talked with a couple of barmaids about what they know of the Pastmaster as well as possible magical creatures that live in the forest. After said conversation, they leave (Stormcrow a bit tispy) and head back to their rooms. Seems the Pastmaster is at a tower in the midst of the woods not far from Megalith. After McGrath informs Tasha and Hans, they decide to get a good night’s rest before doing anything further.
Read Log McGrath, Stormcrow, Tasha and Hans wake up the next morning and go to speak with Queen Callista about supplies. They tell her they’re going to make the Pastmaster leave and ask that she give them horses and rations for their journey. Callista does along with weaponry, but doesn’t have faith they will succeed or return alive. XD
After getting their asked for supplies and horses, the four of them head out to the woods towards Pastmaster’s tower. Hardly anyone goes in these woods as they’re deemed dangerous. Along the way, they run into a few mythical creatures but so far so good. Later Kaleigh, one of the barmaids from the tavern, is spotted and she goes to talk to the group. She says she can talk to the magical creatures in the forest and wants to help them on their quest for the Pastmaster as she doesn’t like him either. So they let her and continue on their merry way.
Read Log The group of Tasha, McGrath, Stormcrow, Hans and Kaleigh continue through the woods. They don’t run into any creatures along the way but are ambushed by a large group of thieves led by Robin Youall. He demands they give up all their valuables in order to continue along the path to the Pastmaster’s tower. Hans forks over his rolex and Stormcrow her earrings but it isn’t enough so they threaten to let everyone pass but McGrath. Just as they’re about to go mideval on McGrath’s buttox, the vines along the forest shoot out and grab the theives by their ankles and toss them off. Scared, the others flee and Robin himself is flung away. Seems that Kaleigh has a bit of command over the forest vegitation but it is limited.
Soon after the group reaches their destination as the area becomes quiet and still. They hear loud thudding noises and see two cyclopses the Pastmaster summoned for guards around the clearing by his tower. They decide to have a rest and sit down right in front of the path blocking it. The group discuss their options in getting around these two giants.
Meanwhile, back at the MBI, Fletch emerges from the basement and notes the odd surroundings outside the MBI through the lobby doors. Josie informs him of all that’s transpired, and even goes back to fill him in on McGrath’s status. The two feel glum with supplies being limited and little hope of returning to their proper time but Fletch says they must stay positive and think clearly. He decides to go and keep watch on the rooftop for either the group to return (it has been over a day now since their departure) or anyone else be they enemy or ally.
Read Log Tasha volunteers to be a distraction for the cyclopses by riding out around them on her horse to lead them away from the others and the path. She heads off and indeed the two gigantic guards get up and chase her into the woods on the other side of the small clearing past Pastmaster’s tower. The others quickly rush to the tower and make it inside alright. They start to go up the stairs when they note a strange stream of magic flowing through the tower which McGrath goes off to investigate. Stormcrow, Hans and Kaleigh continue up the stairs and confront the Pastmaster himself. Angry at the intruders, he raises up an army of skeletal kats to fight them off and keep them distracted while he continues with a spell he was in the midst of casting.
Stormcrow and Hans do their best against the skeleton kats but Kaleigh goes after the Pastmaster. She and he scuffle and the Tome of Time which the Pastmaster was using lands at the edge of the rooftop. Both struggle for it but Kaleigh grabs it first and uses it as a shield which reflects the magic from the Pastmaster. He is hit with his own blast and falls off the tower. The remaining skeleton kats drop giving Stormcrow and Hans a break. Kaleigh opens the Tome now and starts flipping through its pages looking for something apparently to turn her back into the clurichaun she used to be. She says she’ll look for a time spell when she’s normal as she’ll have full access to her powers again. Hans and Stormcrow go to find McGrath while Kaleigh does so.
McGrath meanwhile had ended up finding a room where the strange stream of magic was flowing from. Those two fairy sisters Assana and Tansy are inside, shrunken and trapped in seperate corked clear bottles, their magic being drained from them. McGrath attempts to get them out but the magic hinders him from doing so so easily. One of the armored suits in the room comes to life and attacks McGrath, injuring him some. When the Pastmaster was knocked from his tower, the same thing that happened to the skeletal kats happens to the suit of armor and it drops. McGrath finishes his work and frees the two fairies who are overly grateful to their “heroic savior”, so grateful in fact they wish to remain with him to protect and serve him as payment for saving them.
Hans and Stormcrow find him at this point and after failed attempts by Stormcrow to get Assana and Tansy to leave, they all return to the top of the tower to find Kaleigh. She has shrunk herself to about a foot or so and fully restored to her former self. She lets Stormcrow look through the Tome for a spell to use to get into an already made portal the Pastmaster had created which is still in the sky. They all decide they better hurry back to the others, and after finding Tasha, the group is teleported back to the MBI building by Assana and Tansy.
The Megs quickly enter the building as Kaleigh instructs Stormcrow on how to use her magic to help fuel the spell that has already begun. She moves back from the group who all (including the two pixies much to everyone’s annoyance) go into the building. Stormcrow recites the spell and they along with the MBI building and anyone else in it vanish, hurtling forth into the future. When the ride is over, they all look out the windows to see they are not in their proper time still. The Megs take a look outside where some robotic forces loom, requesting that they give themselves up.
Read Log Everyone scatters as the robots attempt to capture them. Fighting them off proves to be a difficult task, and so they rush to the roof where they escape on the chopper there. Hans flies McGrath, Stormcrow, Fletch and Tasha out through the city towards Dr. Viper’s swamp where they land and rest a moment to figure things out at the old landing pad the NSA used to use.
It seems that through futuristic sky ads, Professor Jenna Clawson is in charge of this mechanized future that’s 46 years from the normal present time. Those who disobey get brainwashed into doing so at Re-Education camps or eliminated all together depending on what the crime is. The SWAT Kats have been destroyed four years prior and anyone who dares to take up a mask and become one is destroyoed immediately.
Another robot squad accompanied by Jenna pursues the group of Megs but are destroyed by bombs McGrath has laid out. Jenna herself confronts the group and after getting little information out of them, means to arrest them and send them off for brainwashing. Tansy and Assana (who had been with McGrath in hiding) use their “blinking” teleportation power to transport everyone away from her to another part of the swamp, right next to Dr. Viper’s old tree lair.
Read Log The group outside of Viper’s lair decide to send a few in while the others keep watch. Tasha, Stormcrow and Fletch go inside the snakekat’s treehouse of DOOM but it seems the doc isn’t there. However, after looking around and finding some notes, it seems that he is still alive and using the place. Jenna however is approaching, so the group exits the swamp and goes to the outskirts of the city with the help of Assana and Tansy again.
Meanwhile, Mark and Josie had been captured and taken to Jenna’s HQ building (Megakat Tower) where they are kept in a holding cell in the basment of said building. A Cale Clawson, who turns out to be Trina’s son, and a Faustine Kgosi arrive to talk with them, well Cale wants to talk, Faustine wants to experiment with the Tome of Time on the two Megs as it turns out she is Jenna’s magic advisor. Joseph had snuck into the building via the ventilation system to see the two Megs that were captured for himself. Faustine ends up leaving for a moment to replace an ingredient that was broken and Cale Joe free Mark and Josie, helping them into the vents. Joe takes Mark and Josie to his home deep in some tunnels off the sewer system where he explains to them what happened and Josie tells him where and when they have been ’til now.
The other Megs find an alley which happens to be outside a clothing store. They find clothes that had been tossed out for minor defects (a small hole or something in a seam) and change into them so they won’t be running around in their dark aged clothing anymore. Fletch goes to a booth which is a touch screen and tries to find Jase then Joe but both come up as unknown and with warnings of their being a danger to the city. He does try Hertz and an addy pops up but his two previous queries are reported and robots soon approach the area to search. Fletch hurries with the others and leads them to Hertz’ place. Seems he helps citizens to get away from the robots and when the bots come for them at Hertz’s door, he tells them to hurry to a secret passage off his basement. They go, and greet a mysterious masked kat who leads them a long long way through tunnels and sewer to a base where a resistance force dwells.
Faustine returned to where the two Megs were being held only to find their cell open and empty. No sign of Cale or them in the entire building and she contacts Jenna who is obviously not pleased. She and Jenna meet in Jenna’s quarters where Faustine informs Jenna of her suspicion that Cale is helping the resistance. Jenna reviews the survelience hologram from the cell and sure enough sees what all transpired. Furious, she tells Faustine to get on figuring out time spells while she ponders on what to do.
Read Log Jenna contacts Cale and summons him to her war room. He puts on his SWAT Kat uniform and as Rebelde goes to meet her. She doesn’t see him at first, or at least what he’s wearing, as she questions him about the two escaped Megs and how they got away. She then reveals she knows what happened and he reveals himself as Rebelde. The two exchange angry words concerning Cale’s parents and Jenna starts attacking him.
McGrath decides to seperate from the group to learn a bit more about what’s going on and leaves the others to this masked kat. He has Tansy wake up as the two pixies fell asleep in a couple of his inside pockets. He gets Tansy to teleport him to Megakat Tower, and after distracting the robot guards, he uses a grappler to ascend to the top of the tower. There he has full view of Cale and Jenna and listens in on their conversation while looking about the room.
Rebelde pulls out the legendary Dragon Sword which he managed to keep ahold of from his dad. He doesn’t use it on Jenna though but she tries to break it but is unable to for some reason. Jenna tries to reason with Rebelde, or more like taunt him, and he finally retaliates. As the two struggle, McGrath sneaks down into the room via that skylight and manages to extract information from Jenna’s mainframe computer that sits in the room to the side. Jenna uses her super strength to attack Rebelde now, but McGrath saves him before Jenna begins to break his neck with her hands. Using a grappler at the ceiling, he flips the line around Jenna’s neck, then retracts the line sending her upwards. McGrath calls to Tansy to help, and she uses her powers of wind to have Jenna continue on up through the skylight and up off several blocks to fall down towards the city. Tansy then teleports McGrath and Rebelde to the swamp outside Viper’s old lair.
At the swamp, McGrath and Tansy question Rebelde on some things after a small introduction. McGrath asks him what all has happened to bring Jenna into power.
Read Log Joe takes Mark and Josie to the main resistance’s base. They go see Jason and talk about everything though they aren’t quite sure how to stop this, save by going back in time but to do that they need the Tome of Time. The two go and rest for awhile to await the arrival of the others.
Rebelde explains things to McGrath and Tansy. Assessing the situation, McGrath wonders if there’s any anti-matter anyplace. Rebelde tells him about the storage facility at the edge of the swamp where it’s kept. They go to the facility where McGrath breaks in but they can’t get ahold of any and Rebelde is spotted by a hover ball bot which reports to several bots on Rebelde’s wherabouts. Jenna hears wind of this as well, and sends Faustine and Katpone out to take Cale in.
McGrath escapes from the facility through the roof exit. He and Tansy watch as Cale fights off Faustine and Katpone. He ends up loosing but McGrath and Tansy teleport off to the city beforehand to safety near a subway where they can get to the resistance’s base where the masked kat had lead Tasha, Hans and Stormcrow. However, he’s waylaid as he sees two bots hauling off Joe who can’t escape from them. McGrath creates a distraction and manages to help free Joe. Joe takes him and Tansy to the resistance’s base where he tells them Josie and Mark are there. McGrath speaks with Josie to get a status report and then goes to rest a bit as they are.
Cale is deposited in a cell and his Dragon Sword taken and stowed away with a vial of the antidote to the UB3R formula, the Tome and a newly aquired alien tech weapon that used to belong to Rilth that McGrath used to help get them through time in the first place. Jenna dismisses Faustine and Katpone to ponder her next move and how to properly use these things she’s aquired.
Read Log The Masked Kat finally leads the others to the resistance hideout. They all go to see Jase who was having a discussion with Joe, and a bit of trouble with some chest pain which went away. After talking with them, Joe shows everyone around and eventually to the armory. The masked kat seems to be acting a bit suspicious but it turns out that’s because a door off the armory leads down to an “old friend” of theirs, Dr. Viper. Yes, Dr. Viper is even helping the resistance to try and take Jenna down. Not sure they like the idea, the Megs agree there’s nothing to be done with him and will hopefully find the Tome first to prevent any of this from even happening. Later it is revealed that the maked kat is Lt. Commander Steele’s son, though he doesn’t think to fondly of his father since apparently Steele betrayed the resistance and ended up in a cell.
Cale wakes up in his cell angry that he was caught and is weaponless, though he doesn’t know that Assana and Tansy are searching via tracker McGrath placed. The Megs figure after some rest they can go after him and the Tome through the underground tunnels they’ve been using to help sneak into Jenna’s building.
Meanwhile, McGrath gets Assana and Tansy to use a tracking device in the shape of a pen to locate Cale whom he placed a tracer on. The two zip off into the building and search for him, thinking this is a fun game. McGrath himself disables Jenna’s bots via override commands on that PDA of his, then enters the building. He and Faustine chose to speak with Jenna at the same moment and meet each other in the hall. They enter Jenna’s chambers where McGrath lets Faustine speak first. Jenna annoyed ends up seeing McGrath and recognizes him as the one who threw her out of the building. The three argue but McGrath manages to talk Jenna into listening to him as he knows about that device she has and how it can keep paradoxes in time from occuring so she can get items and such from the past. Faustine, angry at Jenna for even listening, exits, stealing a compact of Jenna’s along the way for a spell.
McGrath tells Jenna about the device and convinces Jenna that Faustine isn’t needed as magic is useless in this time, and perhaps Faustine is even out to betray Jenna and take over. Jenna calls Faustine up and tells her she’s fired, to which Faustine isn’t happy with (she heard everything Jenna and McGrath said via spell before) and vanishes. Jenna dismisses McGrath to have a test at that device.
Read Log After getting some rest, Josie wakes up and goes out into the hall to stretch. There she is spotted by McGrath who has returned from Jenna’s HQ (aka the Fortress of Pretty XD). He informs her and then Fletch and Stormcrow who also wakes up about everything he’s been up to (see previous summaries). He tells them that if Jenna does open a portal, they’ll need to try and get that device from her in the past (or rather the proper time) so she can’t time travel any further and make sure none of this happens. He then heads off again to get back to Jenna’s lair before it’s noted he’s gone.
Josie and Fletch followed by Stormcrow discuss this a bit then note everyone heading off to the mess hall for the night’s dinner. They get in line where Stormcow sees her mother Dana there. She hurries off to greet her, and finds that Dana is blind now in her old age but okay. Josie and Fletch sit down with them after giving the two some peace for the reunion and Stormcrow goes to get her food. Josie and Fletch ask about things and the subject turns to Faustine. Reluctant, Dana tells the two Megs about Faustine being her and Bexa’s daughter and all she knows about her. Dana then asks that Fletch and Josie don’t tell Stormcrow about this and they say they won’t but they might have to. Stormcrow rejoins them and the four of them have their meal.
Read Log Josie and Fletch finish their meal and let Dana and Stormcrow catch up on things. Tasha and Joe meanwhile have finished looking around and see the masked kat Steele, aka Rampart. Joe asks a status report and the masked kat mentions they are running low on milk and medical supplies and will send out a team with Joe’s permission. Joe gives him the go ahead and tells Rampart to send out Tasha, Hans, Josie and Fletch.
Rampart gives the Megs the information needed for these raids, though Josie and Fletch say they’d like to check out the nearby park as that was a place Dana mentioned Faustine used to go to as a kitten and may very well be using. Seeing it is worth a shot, Rampart agrees to let them go there first before joining them later. Josie and Fletch split up from the others and head off to the park.
Rampart, Tasha and Hans go and manage to get through some very tight security to get some milk and med supplies without getting spotted. They reach the tunnels again and make their way back to base after nearly being spotted by some bots.
Read Log Josie and Ryder proceed to the park in search of Faustine. All the find there though is her shoes and a few things indicating she’d been there, but not if she was staying there much. They decide to return back to the rebel base to see how the mission went to gather supplies.
Hans, Tasha, and the Masked Kat return to base after a narrow escape from three robots with the supplies needed. Hans and Tasha go to get something to eat and rest up after the ordeal.
Tansy and Assana find Cale finally and free him. Having used all her energy to blow the door away, Tansy falls asleep in Cale’s pocket, while Assana continues to help him. They are met with some robots, which they quickly dispose of. Then Cale goes in search of the Dragon Sword to take back.
Meanwhile Faustine has made her way back into Jenna’s room and is in the process of possibly taking the Tome of Time when things get a bit more difficult than planned.
Read Log Joe goes to check on Jason at the base, finding him having passed on, sadly. He finds a note in the album Jason is holding though from Jake, saying that the Sword has a mind of its own. Joe decides to inform Cale later of this, and goes have someone take care of Jason.
Faustine decides to go in search of help to crack the safe. In the hallway she runs into McGrath, Cale and Assana. The three have a brief discussion, then decide to work together to get into the safe. McGrath promises to give faustine the tome, if she lets them have the dragon sword and the vial of antidote. she agrees and helps them get into the safe as far as she can. McGrath then hooks up his PDA and retrieves the PIN for the last lock. Faustine grabs up the tome, Cale the sword, and McGrath the vile. McGrath tells Cale to get the rebels moving as quickly as possible to attack Jenna’s fortress. Cale Calls up Joe, who tells him something is amiss and to come see him as soon as he can. McGrath has Assana blink Cale back to the base.
Cale returns to find Joe, and Joe informs him of Jason’s passing. Cale is upset but calms himself, ready to fight now. Joe tells Cale that he’ll (Cale) will have to help lead them now after cale reads the note from jake that Joe found earlier.
Read Log We sorta deviated off the normal timeline to bring you some sillyness! OH NOOOOOOOOEZ!
The Big Cheese at Chunk O’ Cheese’s calls up the MBI to report someone has taken over his cheesy act, someone sounding like Madkat. Stormcrow takes the call, and tells Fletch and Tasha. The three load up in Tasha’s car and head over there. They rush inside, helping fleeing patrons, and confront MK. He turns them into kittens but with unexpected results as the three retaliate instead of flee in fear. In due time they eliminate two of his jingle bells on his cap, leaving the last one as the muns got tired and had to go pass out to beddy bye. lol!
Read Log A funeral ceremony is held after Jason’s passing. All the resistance (who isn’t on guard duty or something else) attends as well as the MBI agents. Joe gives the eulogy and everyone pays their last respects, the Megs do so last. Mark finally asks the quiet agents if they think they should tell the others when the get back of what happened. Opinions on this vary but the most vocal are Tasha (who thinks they shouldn’t tell anyone anything) and Josie (who thinks they shouldn’t tell anyone anything other than medical things for prevention). Soon the two start to fight and are seperated. Mark, based on majority vote, orders everyone to not say anything about this future, only about the past they went to. Mark also orders for any rivalries among everyone to end.
Everyone then heads to the resistances “War Room” where Cale had stormed off to (angry with the fighting at Jase’s funeral) and several resistance fighters are gathered. There they discuss the best plan of attack to raid Jenna’s Fortress (of Pretty XD). Three teams will go to the tower, two are to serve as a main distraction. The third, which all of the Megs will go to, will go to the top and confront Jenna herself and try to defeat her then go back to the proper time. Cale and Rampart will go with the Meg’s team to lead them to Jenna’s chambers. After everyone is clear on the plan, everyone is dismissed and seperates to get weapons, eat and prepare themselves for the attack. Discussion about Rampart and other things is brought up as the Megs try to figure out more intimate details of how all of this came to be.
Meanwhile, Jenna herself wakes up with an idea to defeat her foes. She goes to her safe to check on the items and finds that three of them are missing. The Tome of Time, Dragon Sword and UB3R formula’s antidote are those said items. Furious, Jenna calls up Katpone and the two discover that it was Faustine disguised as Jenna stole it. They also heard the conversation between her and McGrath, and realizing that he two has doublecrossed her, she frets with them being in possession of that antidote. Katpone tries to calm her, and swears he’ll help protect her from anyone who tries to use it on her.
Read Log Another deviation from the main plot – Dark Kat’s 100th Birthday celebration! XD 6/6/06
Dark Kat invites all of Megakat City’s most notorious thugs, mobsters and super villains for this birthday bash to celebrate turning 100 on the 6th of June. Most everyone arrives, insanity soon insues as no one is taking Dark Kat as seriously as he takes himself. XD Eventually riots breakout and everyone leaves after Dark Kat’s lair is destroyed. The only one who stayed was Antonio Katpone, to which Dark Kat gave the offer for an alliance which Antonio plans on pursuing at a later time.
Read Log The Megs along with the resistance kats move in on their scale attack to get to Jenna and get the Megs back to their proper time.
(End of Time Tripping Arc)
Read Log With the Megs now returned to their proper time, Trina and Jase try to get some information from them on what the heck happened as they’d been gone awhile in the normal time line during their time tripping. The group are reluctant to tell them anything for fear of disrupting the time stream so some things are left out.
Meanwhile, Protocol speaks with Hard Drive on DarkKat’s behalf for some stolen Puma-Dyne data files.
Read Log News of strange occurances is announced as various citizens of Megakat City are hit with strange arrows which causes them to then behave irratically and violently. Fletch and Tasha dealt with a nutso soccer mom the previous night who is in MBI custody. Apon interrogation however, the she-kat seemed confused and doesn’t remember what happened. The Megs have a new case to look into in this “Cupid Conspiracy”.
Someone calls the MBI wanting them to come speak with them. Fletch, Tasha, Stormcrow and Josie all check out various leads and the arrow they have in evidence. When Josie returns the arrow, she’s struck with an arrow herself from a mysterious figure who takes off with their evidence and the arrow Josie was just hit with. Josie goes off into an angry rage (more than usual ;D) and it takes a few agents to get her put away in a closet. McGrath put her there, after coming back from buying… new shoes? Security tape is reviewed by Fletch to see Josie was hit and the Megs are left clueless as to what this is all about.
Read Log After reviewing the security tape further, seems that this person is an expert at archery. Before the Megs go searching for archery clubs, a memo from Jase regarding a meeting with that someone who called earlier is recieved. Seems Mr. Arthur Eval wants to have the MBI investigate his father. There was a tech kat who died named Susan Valentine who was working on a mind altering device. Later it was discovered that her work was stolen.
Leaving the premisis, they run into Arthur’s father who is none too pleased of them being there. The Megs leave and seek out an archery club where someone may fit the profile and talk with the club’s owner who gives them information. Seems this Susan Valentine was a part of the club, but only showed to win tournaments. She had her own equipment and high tech at that.
Read Log Josie is let out of the closet after Ryder explains what happened to Trina, Joe and then Mark. Mark drives a distraught and embarrassed Josie home, telling her that things will work out and she shouldn’t give up on the Bureau yet. Likewise Fletch has a smiliar talk with Joe about getting along with his peers and to expect a bit of headache but to be assured their leaders know what they’re doing and won’t fire him or anyone for one or two complaints.
Hans later returns to the Bureau where he informs the others about what he, Tasha and Stormcrow learned at Eval Corp and the archery club. Hans, McGrath and Joe discuss things all the while during this Assana sees a TV commercial for a purfume and goes out to buy and uses it. Purfume isn’t good for the pixies with the chemicals as it weakens their powers. Tansy brings her ‘poisoned’ sister upstairs to the others and Assana says she doesn’t know why she wanted it. After discussion of the companies of Eval Corp., Hans brings up the purfume and McGrath’s new shoes – both by Eval Corp. Seems that Eval Corp is using Valentine’s device in order to get kats to purchase their products in advertisements.
Read Log Hans asks Jase to call a meeting where he explains to everyone what’s going on and what they’ve figured out on the Cupid case so far. A plan is formed where Hans and Tasha will go undercover using a ticket to a swanky event Arthur Eval invited Jase to. The others will serve as back up to get into the place. After the meeting Trina and Fletch talk with Jase about switching partners with Joe and Josie to keep the fighting down and give both agents their space. Trina is assigned with Joe and Fletch with Josie.
Read Log Jenna pays the MBI a visit, in particular Jason. She tells Jase not to worry anymore with his ‘debt’ to her and inquires about the Bureau’s missing for a week’s time. Jase won’t tell her of course as he himself isn’t sure of everything. Jenna asks in return for the ‘discount’ that someday Jase does her a favor. He somewhat agrees just to be rid of her.
Fletch goes to talk with Stormcrow and see if she knows how to get in touch with the cyberdemon Tessie Reed as she may be needed to help the rest of the agents get into Eval’s manor during the party. Stormcrow figures she’s with Greenbox still and tells a bit about what she knows of Tessie’s abilities to Fletch, and also that she trusts Tessie like a friend. Fletch thanks her for the info and heads back to the deskroom to ponder things.
Jason calls up Ann after Jenna’s gone and the two meet at a coffee shop. Jase talks a little bit more to Ann about the future, that he dies but he’s unsure how and what age. Tasha’s spotted and Jase calls her over to see if he can get anything out of her since the others have been reluctant to share.
Read Log Tasha sits with Jase and Ann and finally, reluctantly, spills the events that transpired when the agents went back into the past and then forward into the future. Jase and Ann both are quite shocked, and Tasha worries she’ll get a yelling for telling Jase as the others voted not to say a word to anyone who didn’t go along. They thank Tasha and she heads back to the MBI. Jase and Ann decide to stay away from work a bit longer and go for a beachside bike ride on Jase’s motorcycle.
Tasha ends up finding Fletch in the gym on her return to the Bureau. She informs him that she and Hans are ready for the Eval party and they discuss what to do about Jenna as she still has those powers from the UB3R formula. Remembering McGrath had the antidote, Fletch and Tasha sneak into his office, find and take the formula to later attempt to use on Jenna. They decide that later should be now, and so Fletch and Tasha go to Puma-Dyne where Jenna works to try and get her to take the antidote.
Read Log Stormcrow gets to know the pixies a bit more than before and vice versa.
Ann and Jase discuss going on vacation together sometime soon.
Read Log Jenna has sent in a lawyer to the MBI who informs Tasha that Jenna is going to sue her unless Jason fires her.
Jack Spinner releases Swytch from the Realm of Fire after making a deal with her. He has six individuals he wants her to “take care of” and Swytch goes after two on the list – Stormcrow and McGrath.
Read Log Hans had returned home with his dad from a trip to Germany. He and Tasha were at his and his dad’s place when they talk with Trina onna phone. Hans ‘n Tasha go to Joe and Trina’s with some pizza and the four of them talk awhile.
Next day, Swytch can’t locate Stormcrow by her magic signature due to a device of McGrath’s, but she knows to find her at the MBI and pays the Bureau another visit. Fletch, Joe and Stormcrow manage to get her to leave though are concerned with her wanting Stormcrow, McGrath and Mark.
Read Log Swytch comes after Ann Gora, who is another on the list, while Ann was talking on the phone to Jason. Figuring Ann would be easy prey, she toys with her awhile, leaving Jase enough time to get there and help save Ann.
Joe and Fletch meet up at a bar to discuss a dangerous plan that’s not quite by the books for solving the problem with Jenna.
Read Log Joe and Jason go to Jenna’s place to let her know that Tasha isn’t with the MBI anymore as per agreement in dropping the suit. Jenna makes a few more demands, namely wanting that antidote. Having enough of her, Joe and Jase go to leave, and end up provoking Jenna enough to stop pretending and use her strength against them which Joe gets pictures of just before the two of them flee.
Read Log Swytch tries another tactic by transforming herself to look like Josie and speak with Mark alone. Joe and Stormcrow realize something’s up so follow and when Swytch attacks they help Mark to drench Swytch enough to weaken her. Swytch ends up telling them why she’s after them and who made the contract with her. McGrath enters the scene and informs them Spinner plans on destroying all magical creatures in the world, leaving Swytch to ponder talking with him.
Read Log Fletch and Joe use their plan in seeing to it Jenna’s powers are finally gone. Fletch invites her to a mystery date rooftop dinner where Joe lies in wait on a roof across the way to snipe her with a tranq dart. However, the dart is unable to pierce her skin and fur, and Jenna turns on Fletch realizing he’s nothing but a distraction. After a struggle, Fletch manages to get the antidote into Jenna, making her swallow some of it and thus the effects of the UB3R formula finally wear off. Fletch leaves the roof leaving Jenna there and goes to find Joe to inform him the plan was a success.
Swytch confronts Spinner and he allows the deal to be altered. Swytch doesn’t have to kill the targets on the list, just bring them to a detainment facility in International waters. Swytch first ambushes Ann Gora and takes her there. She then goes to the MBI for the pixies and is confronted by McGrath but manages to disable him and send the pixies off to the detainment facility.
Read Log Stormcrow finishes cleaning up the breakroom from the mess Swytch did to it before. Fletch avoids informing Jason about his ‘n Joe’s plan being a success and later catches Josie up on the latest. Jenna calls Antonio Katpone pleading for his understanding after explaining what happened, which he somewhat does.
Read Log The SWAT Kats have broken into a bank and stole some money and other valuables. The Megs respond but the Turbokat takes off, Joe in its cargo bay along for the ride. During the chaos, Swytch takes the opportunity to kidnap Stormcrow and take her to the detainment center, leaving only Mark to be nabbed.
The Megs tried to follow but were unable to catch up and it appears that Trina knows the SWAT Kats personally. When the Turbokat finally reaches its destination, Dark Kat is the one to greet the two SWAT Kats. They discover Joe hiding in the cargo bay.
Read Log Joe is captured and thrown in a cell. Have T-Bone and Razor really gone bad and work for Dark Kat now?
The Megs are able to trace the SWAT Kats’ location. Hans takes them in the MBI’s chopper out to the desert where the Megs discover Dark Kat’s lair.
Read Log Joe manages to coax a creepling into letting him go for crackers, or nearly does, when the others arrive at his cell. Trina and Fletch try to get him out while Hans took off with the chopper to not have their cover blown. One of Dark Kat’s cyberdemons appears, but it turns out to be Protocol. She makes a deal with the Megs in that if she helps them escape and tell them what’s wrong with the SWAT Kats, they will allow her to become an agent of the MBI. Reluctantly they agree and Protocol transports them via cyberkat acoherency through the powerlines back to the MBI where she explains what’s going on then fills out an application before divulging how to fix what Dark Kat has done to T-Bone and Razor.
Read Log Swytch reports to Spinner hoping he’ll be willing to be satisfied with five out of the six kats he wanted. Spinner shows her a stealth bomber with a payload that will destroy all magical beings in Megakat City. He then betrays her and nearly kills her, sending her off with the trash. Burke and Murray end up finding her and she’s taken to the hospital where the medical staff are quite perplexed with how she’s even alive. They contact the MBI as Swytch is on a Most Wanted poster.
Read Log Trina, Joe and Fletch go to the hospital to see Swytch in bad condition. She wakes up and informs them of the anti-magic bomb Spinner intends to drop on Megakat City. Trina goes to check out the landfill where Swytch was found and later Joe, Fletch and Swytch go there as well. After finding evidence of NSA materials and one of Swytch’s earrings, the Megs and Swytch find a tube that appears to lead to the NSA and intend on going up it.
