Hertz, Thad Willy

Physical Description and Characteristics

Completely orange from head to toe, the only markings he has are a white patch over his eyes and on the end of his tail. Though short, stout, and rather healthy looking at first glance, his body is in a state of constant disrepair. Always on the receiving end of any painful experience, Thad is the very epitome of an accident waiting to happen.

Easilly afflicted with a variety of illnesses and other problems, he has a pill for just about anything from an asthma attack to a paper-cut. He’s in constant paranoia of his surroundings and usually startles very, very easily, contributing to his ulcer and innate anxiety. Skittish to a fault, more often times than not he only worsens any situation by panicing or just breaking down altogether.

Past History

Born in the back of a taxi that had crashed through a mirrored storefront when a black kat crossed right in front of the driver, Thad came into the world on Friday the 13th and had to be carried under three ladders on his way to the EMS unit that eventually arrived on the scene. The rest of his life would pretty much follow suit with this uniquely unlucky entrance into the world. As a kitten he was always plagued with bizarre, freak accidents that constantly tested the limits of his frail little body and weak immunity system. After managing to get through school still alive, he was pressured by his domineering father to make something of himself and was sent to the Enforcer Academy. Hurt or sore practically every other day, Thad had a sinking feeling that he was in the wrong career field, but still he persevered thanks to his booksmarts and somehow made it through relatively intact.

His instructors were almost afraid for him to be put in the field, so they highly recommended him for research and clerical duties, otherwise known as desk work. Thad didn’t mind in the least and made himself useful at Megakat City’s Enforcers until which time that they decided he was a bit too incompetant for their tastes and forcibly transferred him to the MBI to make him their problem.

Present History

Working at the MBI, mainly alongside Agent Lamb and others who take a backseat to most of the patrol duties and such, he focuses mostly on paperwork and booking, not to mention the occassional cleaning and napping.
