Physical Description and Characteristics

Is a medium-built light brown furred kat with chestnut-brown hair and tail. Eyes are a combination of chestnut-brown and dark green, making them incredibly dark, almost black. Likes to dress in clothes that may characterize his attitude: the calm yet strong-silent type. Usually, he goes for the jean shirt with rolled up sleeves and jeans wear, combined with black biker’s boots. At work, he’ll wear his MBI uniform or a work shirt with a tie and jeans.

His characteristics show a tom-kat of a carefree nature. Jason is known to act more like the jester and older brother of the group. He doesn’t know how many people he’s ticked off, but he’ll find out once there’s an angry mob outside his door. He likes to joke his way around even in the most serious situations… that is, until he’s sure that there’s a good time to worry. He’s, in some cases, somewhat of a klutz, rather shy around she-kats and can’t help but blush upon receiving a compliment, which just sounds unnatural coming from someone who makes half a living by singing onstage.

Past History

Born the first and only son of the head the Puma Dyne Institute in Megakat City, Jason lived his life to the fullest, not really paying attention to the consequences he would have had to face in the future. Learning marksmanship at the MKU ROTC, Jason quickly developed his ability to fight, and his way with weapons became something like he knew since childhood. After his father’s disappearance, young Jason, convinced he was still alive, went off on a goal: to find the kat he looked up to. During his years at MKU, he grew to love rock and roll music, and getting together a small group of young kats, he was able to form the group known as Spurr. Four years became a success for the band and, after the band went their separate ways, he graduated..

He stumbled upon his cousin’s secret only weeks before becoming captain of the Megakat Bureau of Investigation, “dropping in” on the SWAT Kats’ hangar, quite literally. However, he wasn’t searching to become the next SWAT Kat. Promising to keep his mouth shut, Jason hasn’t uttered a word about Jake and Chance’s alter egos since.

Like Katrina, he gained employment at the MBI via their father’s influence. His training and dedication paid off eventually when he was ranked to captain due to his leadership skills and his ability to stay cool and collected in the line of duty.

Where the Character is Concurrently

As an MBI captain, Jason’s main concern is keeping the city safe and his Bureau at bay. He tries to keep a calm state of mind when the Director fails to do so, taking matters into his own hands when it comes to solving a problem or when it’s time to handle a delicate situation mission-wise. Out of the office, he remains his goofy self, joking around with close friends or even his girlfriend.

As for his band, they got back together and play during the holiday season, mostly to raise money for charity or to add a little extra to the Bureau’s budget.
