Name: Katrina “Trina” Korat-ForgeCode Name: Sage
Rank: Agent/Negotiator
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Height: 5’7″
Status: MBI
Korat carries the MBI standard issue Glock 17.
Physical Description and Characteristics
Her back-length and layered hair is a chestnut brown that blends with a tail of the same color. Has dark brown eyes and a light brownish tone of fur. Her dress code involves a roguish “street-cop” attire: t-shirt and/or a jean shirt and jeans, with either the regular, combat or the biker’s boots. Or, if she wants to be really comfortable, she’ll go for the khakis and shirts or tank tops.
Her characteristics show a she-kat of a calm, yet strong attitude. As much as she’s sure to be treated as “one of the Boys” in the Bureau, she has a difficult time trying to let go of the “maternal instinct” that somehow managed to blossom when she joined the organization. The only female among a group of tomkats back when the Bureau was still young, she found herself in a situation where she felt and acted like a mother hen rather than an agent and superior towards her fellow kats.
As sensitive as she appears to be, Katrina will not show her emotions in the line of duty, no matter how hard the situation is. She refuses to. It makes her feel vulnerable and, at the same time, weak. All in all, one could say she’s her brother, Jason’s, complete opposite. But, no worries. She will smile, and she will laugh.
Abilities
Able to handle a regular fire arm; martial arts include Tae Pawn Do and Street Fighting
Relationships
Younger sister to Captain Jason Korat; Cousin to Chance Furlong; Married to Captain Joseph Forge
Past History
Katrina Celine Korat was born and raised in the city of Megakat (although spent some of her middle and high school years in the city of Katskill), only daughter of Jonathan Korat, head of the Puma Dyne Institute. She spent most of her time, much to her mother’s chagrin, watching her father test weapons and at some point even volunteering to help him test them. After graduating high school in Katskill, she joined the Bureau through her father’s influence at the organization, college education at MKU coming along with it as well as street and combat training.
When the Bureau was first formed, she became an agent to gradually become lieutenant. She was partnered with David Margray who, alongside her brother, was co-captain of the Bureau. Unfortunately, David died in the line of duty during a katnip bust gone wrong. Due to the effect it had on her life, the “maternal instinct” became even stronger, causing her to worry up to the point of getting sick whenever the agents went out on a mission. Because of this, and due to the feeling that she wasn’t cut out for leadership, she announced that she’d be leaving her lieutenant position, asking Director Sulfur to demote her back to an agent.
Where Character is Concurrently
Trina stands as a special agent in the SWAT department of the MBI, and is chosen in several occasions to take over as a negotiator during a hostage crisis. She’s married to Captain Joseph Forge, though has kept her maiden name in the Bureau for security reasons.
During the few years she’s been at the Bureau, Katrina has gone through a lot of changes. She’d almost died and was unable to bear kittens for a while after being shot in the stomach. That worry was set aside when a small bundle was left on hers and Joe’s doorstep, which turned out to be a son an alternate version of herself had in a different future with Jake Clawson. Despite the kitten’s history, she and Joe decided to raise Cale as their own.
While the kitten was in her care, she also came to learn that her former partner hadn’t died after all, which she learned the hard way when he came knocking on her door to tell her where he’d been.
She later went on maternity leave after finding out she was expecting her first kitten.
She currently works as part-time agent, full-time mother to two…. three if she’d count her husband.
