Browser

Physical Description and Characteristics

Browser is a new technological advancement created by top government scientists for the purpose of tracking, locating, and neutralizing any cyberbeing threat. In it’s standard form, Browser is a typical looking canine of the German Shepherd breed, only built a bit larger in size.

When in this form, it is susceptable to the same weaknesses of a biological. However, he requires less sustenance than a regular canine, and his physical attributes are significantly greater than any common pooch. Browser is programmed to act as any normal canine would when off the hunt, and as such, he enjoys playing catch, chasing cars, and rolling in the grass.

In its acoherent form, Browser is a canine-shaped mass of energy, possessing the ability to hack and zap into any electrical device or wire. Unlike cyberkats, he is unable to shoot bursts of energy at will as an offensive weapon, though if touched, he can transfer harmful electric energy. He is also subject to the same weaknesses that any cyberbeing is when in this state, namely water. His specialty lies in following data trails of cyberbeings, able to pick up and even restore old or deleted tracks.

What separates Browser from a typical cyberbeing is that it is primarily built for capture and containment. It’s body is specially designed for trapping and detaining any cyberbeing that merges into it. It is specially programmed with the latest in firewall technology to keep any cyber-presence that goes in unable to hack into Browser’s mainframe. As well, Browser is specially insulated with a negating energy field that hones in on and matches the unique energy signal of whatever cyberbeing is confined within it, not allowing for any sort of “zap out” or escape. As a consequence, however, Browser is unable to go acoherent himself whenever another cyberbeing is being held within him. Because of this, it can only safely contain one cyberbeing at a time.

None, though he has great loyalty to whomever possesses the watch that operates him.

Past History

Browser was a project headed up by the CKIA, having picked Agent Fletch Ryder’s brain when he was brought in for rehabilitation. They discovered the potential – and threat – of Cyberkats, and decided to build upon Dark Kat’s design. Their research and technology led them to creating Browser, a means by which to capture Cyberkats for the purposes of further research and development. Beyond that, their future agenda concerning the Browser project is highly speculative and classified.

Present History

Browser has been sent to Megakat City for his test run, as the city is thus far the only known location of Cyberkat activity. It’s mission is to obey the commands of it’s operator. That is, anyone who wears the special “wristwatch” that serves as the means to directly relay commands to Browser. Whoever wears the watch has control of it, and Browser is able to be stored in said watch, along with other cyberbeings and their pertaining information.
