Kat, Felony

Physical description/Characteristics

Felony is a gray furred she-kat with fiery orange eyes. Her ears are a bit longer than regular kat’s, and she has three earrings in each ear. Her hair is naturally purple as a result of her genetics. As far as clothes go, she’s normally seen in worn blue jeans and cotton long sleeved shirts or spaghetti strapped shirts when relaxing.

For her criminal attire as Renegade, she wears a pair of black jean pants that are cut mid calf, a royal purple sleeveless loose blouse that shows her midriff and knee high royal purple boots. Around her neck is a black choker with a small padlock for a pendant. She also has a royal purple belt with two leg holsters for her two Vz 61 Skorpions, a royal purple arm band throwing knife holder on each arm near the shoulder, and a long thin black leather strap that she winds around the middle to the end of her tail. She also has a smaller sized hooded cape like her father Dark Kat’s that she’ll wear sometimes, only the arm shield has the letter “R” instead of “D” for Renegade.

Felony can come off as standoffish and has a smart mouth to those who she feels aren’t worthy of being polite to. She’s usually calm and collected around others, but she does have a slight temper and will speak her mind. When out on a job as Renegade, she tends to stay quiet for the most part unless running into someone to which she’ll enjoy exchanging a bit of banter.

Special relationships

Dark Kat’s daughter, though she learned of this after Dark Kat’s supposed death. Older sister to Nightshade Monroe who she is currently at odds with.

Abilities

Over the years Felony has learned how to fight well through martial arts training at a dojo, but still needs improvement. She is quick and agile, but her strength is that of an average kat. She knows skills necessary for proper stealing of valuables and is very good with knives, her preferred weapon of choice for hand to hand combat. She’s decent in firearms, but her aim isn’t always accurate.

Past History

Felony was found on the doorstep of a Megakat orphanage with her younger sister Nightshade when she was but a toddler. Her sister was adopted but she remained there at the orphanage as a ward of the state until she turned 18. Felony grew up in the orphanage hating her life. She always wondered who her parents were, and why they didn’t want her.

Her memories of her sister had left her as she was such a young age. Through her teenage years, she would hang out after school with some of the rougher crowd on the streets. She would do almost anything for acceptance which led her to stealing. She became good at it, but after awhile got tired of hanging out with the “low-lives” and thugs, especially after she was betrayed by the small gang she was in. She decided she wanted to make bigger hits to support her greed and high class standards of living.

Felony is a capable, aggressive and lethal fighter.

To learn how to fight better she started going to a local dojo. Felony later began to hire herself for jobs to help earn money. She heard one of the better known mafia groups was hiring thug kats with the possibility of rising in the ranks. She went as “Renegade” and started doing small errands. She worked her way up through the ranks of the group to become one of the overseers of the transportation of drugs (particularly katnip). She also helped on occasion in stealing weapons that Katpone needed shipped to buyers. For awhile she saw the mafia group like a family, and in fact learned about Nightshade when she joined into the group. However even they too became “small time” after she learned of her heritage.

McGrath informed her of her heritage, that Dark Kat is her father. However with Dark Kat deceased, this left everything going to Felony as the older sibling which she proudly claimed for herself. To keep her father’s empire, Felony even had tried to have her sister Nightshade killed since she chose to side with the Katpones against her.

All the responsibilities of controlling her late father’s empire began to wear Felony down. She often depended on the advice of McGrath though she was suspicious of McGrath’s true loyalties. Because of other powers trying to destroy her and take her empire, she kept him alive and listened to what he had to say. For a time she was also involved with Maven and listened to his advice as well. However when Maven’s son Eddie turned up, Felony began to get distracted, especially when Maven proposed to her.

Ultimately, Felony ended up losing control over Dark Kat’s empire but knows Nightshade doesn’t have control of it either. She suspected perhaps her father wasn’t dead and rumors originating from Enforcer HQ have revealed that perhaps he isn’t. After taking some time off from helping out Josie Lyons on a crazy scheme of a new law organization, Felony plans on finding and contacting Dark Kat to confront him.

Where Character is Concurrently

Since Josie Lyons’ scheme has failed and it has been confirmed that Dark Kat is alive, she has begun to get more serious on her wants. She and Maven broke things off, as she found him and Eddie to not only be a distraction, but a source of weakness which another criminal competitor could use against her. She no longer listens to McGrath either unless she feels he has information she needs. Felony plans on confronting her father and even destroying him so she can take back his empire, feeling she is ready to control it this time.
