Name: ProtocolCode Name: Ana Lytical (more of an alias than code name)
Rank: N/A
Age: Created several years ago, looks mid twenties.
Gender: Female
Height: 5’5″
Status: Villain, though appears to be neutral
Physical description and characteristics:
Protocol’s fur is a light cream color, and her hair is a few shades darker than that. She chose such fur colors to contrast the regular black fur in which all cyberdemons start out with. Her eyes are a sky blue, and her hair is kept boyishly short with the sides at chin length getting shorter the further back it goes. She has all the standard abilities that most other cyberkats/demons do along with all the same weaknesses.
She feels that she is superior to all “biologicals” (non-cyberkats/demons). She’s thorough and also acts “proper” when with others but has a bit of a temper when provoked.
Protocol originally feared getting a “soul” from making prolonged contact with biologicals via getting into their minds. She didn’t expect this to happen when doing the same to a fellow cyberkat, and by accident got the ability to think for herself and do things of her own will. She harbors the desire to take over Megakat City to make it a utopia for her fellow cyberbeings, one in which she will rule over of course.
Special relationships:
The only other being she cares for other than herself is the naive cyberkat Driver. Does respect and even likes McGrath, despite the fact he’s a biological kat.
Past History:
Like the cyberdemons before her, she was created by Dark Kat to serve as a more intelligent help compared to the creeplings, but not with her own free will like his henchmen. She stayed with Dark Kat and the remaining cyberdemons who didn’t rebel against him, and served as a loyal cyberdemon. A few run-ins with the MBI as well as other cyberbeings who were not under Dark Kat’s service ended up having her get a “soul” eventually. Frightened, Protocol decided to seek out Driver, as he was the one who gave her her first few emotions. Driver slowly brought out new emotions from her, emotions she liked for the most part, and Protocol has since had feelings of love and concern for him. She has a desire to take over Megakat City mostly for herself, but for Driver and their kind as well.
Time passed and the planet became aware of extraterrestrial beings called Latifrons. Dark Kat had been working with them and sold out everyone to get rule over the entire planet. However the Latrifrons betrayed him and he along with many others were destroyed. Infuriated with this and the assumed death of Driver, Protocol and McGrath (who also managed to survive) teamed up and executed a plan to save the planet by defeating the Latifrons. The two managed to plant an explosive in the central point of the Latifrons’ defense, but couldn’t escape. McGrath used one of his temporal devices to go back to the past to try and keep this future from happening. To buy him some time, Protocol sacrificed herself to allow him to escape into the past.
McGrath arrived five years prior to everything, about the time Dark Kat first created his cyberdemons. He managed to download most of Protocol before leaving and using Protocol’s past self, merged the two. Protocol doesn’t remember everything that happened those last two years of her existence but helped McGrath and the MBI to defeat the Latifrons and Dark Kat years before they were to finish their plans. During said events, Driver appeared having hitched a ride with Protocol via a file and overjoyed Protocol swore she would be “good”.
Present History:
Protocol is staying with Driver somewhere on the outskirts of Megakat City. For a long while it seemed Protocol was making good on her word, so much so she even joined up with the MBI for a time. Eventually she left the Bureau when it was discovered that an old virus that was in Driver emerged once again. She keeps watch over him, torn between allowing the virus to take him over and help her conquer the city or to keep it contained so they can live in peace.
