Bandit
In Secondary Enemies
Although he is very calm and careful, Bandit gets quite annoyed when time is wasted and when plans are not strictly followed. This is due to the fact he greatly fears death and running out of time. The fear of his own mortality is actually his main driving force to gain all the wealth he can.
Character Name: Severus Hitomi
Code Name: Bandit
Rank: Head Of the DeadKat Inc.
Age: 45
Gender: Male
Height: 6’2″
Status: Villain
Physical Description
A tall and well-built Ginger tom, Bandit is physically quite impressive. Due to a strict diet and daily hygiene program, he has slowed his ageing down to the point where he looks like a tom in his late 20′s.
Dressing in the very casual manner of jeans and black tee shirt with the MWA Logo on it, Bandit doesn’t look like a respectable boss. This is a conscious decision by Bandit so a) it would help deter suspicions of his illegal actives and b) it helps him maintain a trustworthy friendship with his underlings so they feel he is an equal.
He has a long straggly dirty blonde hair cut which fits in to his wrestling gimmick. All the way up and down his arms, are knife and sword scars.
Personality/Characteristics
The clearest trait of Bandit’s personality is his coldness. Even when spending time with his drinking buddy Yang, the ginger kat never smiles. It is as if his face has only one setting, indifference.
He sees his group as the box of toys no one wanted to play with. Most who join DeadKat Inc. are runaways, leave-behinds and lost lonely kats. Bandit brought them all together and saved a few himself, therefore he feels greatly parental of his group.
Although he is very calm and careful, Bandit gets quite annoyed when time is wasted and when plans are not strictly followed. This is due to the fact he greatly fears death and running out of time. The fear of his own mortality is actually his main driving force to gain all the wealth he can.
Abilities
A competent street fighting skill level coupled with his personal liking for learning the art of swordplay makes Bandit a force to take notice of in the MWA ring and on the streets. Although his fighting skills are not the best in the world they are enough for Bandit to wrestle on a midcard level for MWA. The fact his arms are a maze for blade wounds also shows he is slow at learning control with a blade.
Never being in standard classes of education, it is hard to say what Bandit’s level of education is. This being said, Bandit is smart enough to know there are others who are smarter than he is and knows whom to hire.
And then there is his LeenChi-Wan level of Hypnotism. Leant from his master and teacher, Monk Fella, this eye-to-eye bridge into another’s mind allows Bandit to put any kat that catches his glance into a trance. The act of his left pupil pulsing, growing bigger and smaller at a varied rate depending how much effort it will take to put different kats in a highly suggestive trance. Monk Fella’s death occurred before Bandit’s training was finished, so there will be kats able to resist his mental meddling. Suggestions will wear off over the course of a day or sooner depending on a character’s mental strength unless Bandit makes them follow a suggestion of watching MWA for a subliminal message re-enforcing them to follow what Bandit suggested.
Special Relationships
Boss of Cameron Parkyn, Best Friend to Yang, undefined connection to Natasha Cinder. Ally to Renegade.
Past History
Bandit was born of the union between an Army Sergeant named Martin Hitomi and a Japanese office worker named Natsuki Azuma. Tracking down his family history to Japan, Martin took leave to visit the area and visited the house his grandparents had owned before journeying to the US. The current owner was Natsuki. I won’t bore you with details of their courtship but merely say Martin and Natsuki’s whole lives were each other in their little house in Japan. Natsuki was sadly lost during childbirth.
Now alone, losing his love and caring for the infant he held responsible for Natsuki’s death, Martin hated his own son named Severus. Taking a job in a chemist, Martin tried to love the boy, tried to do good by him, but all he saw when he looked at Severus was his wife’s killer… Martin, out of his mind with grief, started to poison the boy with small amounts of drugs he managed to take from work. The drugs over the year he was fed destroyed the nerve endings around Bandit’s mouth till smiling caused him great pain. This carried on till the age of 7 where, in an act of self-preservation, Severus fed his father a lethal dose of the chemicals he was forcing his son to take.
Taken into the care of a nearby monks’ temple, there were many who refused to come near a bad omen, a Maltess (DeathBringer) till Monk Fella took him under his wing. The aged monk taught Severus till he was 16 and Monk Fella succumbed to old age and died. Believing he was a Maltess, Severus who had taken the name Monk BanDid, left the temple and soon stole, killed and mind controlled his way into a crime family. With his power and now wealth, he started to see a way he could prove everyone wrong.
With his own gang, Bandit dropped his Monk title and changed the second “d” to a “t” which was now more fitting to him and started funnelling money into science. Focusing on finding medical immortality, the labs took more money than his small gang could amass. Bandit left another kat in charge as he flew to Chikatgo and started gaining power with the street thugs and gangs till the higher-level crimelords would hire Bandit to run all the day-to-day street crimes. It was here he met Yang in a dockside cage fight and bought him a drink. With Yang as his second in command and an army of DeadKat Inc. members following him, most other criminals laid down for Bandit.
Buying numerous legal businesses to hide behind, Bandit soon owned the MegaKat Wrestling Association and started to use it to hypnotise crowds in to believing they are watching matches, pre-recorded to an empty arena the night before, live. The recordings where implanted in their minds at the flashing lights and sounds they hear as they file in to the arena. The crowd then were edited into the footage during a 3-minute time window and sent out as a “live” broadcast. With the crowd and the TV audiences around the world as an alibi, the DeadKat Inc members Bandit slipped into the roster would be able to cover their backs on jobs they carry out during the show.
Non-DKI members of the wrestling show would wrestle as they would normally and where hypnotised to believe they saw the same as the audience saw. The only one to ever miss all the flashing and sound hypno entrances was Cameron FullForce Parkyn, a favourite of Bandit’s who sneaked in one day late through a window and saw the crowd cheering a empty ring. Bandit offered a place in DKI to Cameron. The British moggy would not play ball. To punish him for his refusal, Bandit made sure Cam remembered all he’d seen but by no means ever stop him.
