In an alternate timeline in which the MBI and most of its agents had disappeared, Bexa and Dana Selkirk married and had a daughter named Faustine Elizabeth Kgosi. Living in the shadow of her half-sister Stormcrow, who her parents never got over losing, Faustine grew up to be a bitter rebel who swore she would become a better sorceress than her sister had ever been.
She went to work for Jenna Clawson to get funding for her studies, and played a big role in Jenna’s takeover of Megakat City. In time, she became the most powerful mage in the world (the fact that she and Jenna destroyed most of the others helped), and the name of “The Fatemistress” was feared far and wide.
Everything changed when the lost MBI agents returned, 46 years later. McGrath managed to convince Jenna that Faustine being the only remaining mage made her obsolete and potentially dangerous, and Jenna fired her. Betrayed and furious, Faustine later helped McGrath and Cale Clawson steal the Dragon Sword and the UB3R antidote, keeping the Tome of Time for herself. During the attack on Jenna’s fortress, she refused to let Stormcrow take the spotlight and sent the agents back to their proper time herself. Faustine’s final act was to have the Tome delivered back in time to Mark Sulfur – her fate after this remains unknown.
History isn’t done with Faustine, however. In the present timeline, Bexa and Dana are now married, and recently had a daughter named Sethunya Faustine Kgosi. Having learned of her half-sister’s potential future, Stormcrow is determined to be there for little Sethe and teach her to use whatever powers she develops responsibly.
