Spinner, Jack
In Enemies

Abilities
Like all NSA agents, Spinner has received the standard tactical training associated with field combat. He has access to a plethora of NSA weaponry and technology, ranging from magic-disabling “anti-enchantiton” devices to stealth aircraft and foot soldiers.
Relationships
A former associate of McGrath’s. Their relation to one another has never been fully explained.
Past-History
- Allied with Dark Kat to gain access to alien technology in exchange for “looking the other way” while he attacked Megakat City with an army of stolen (and non-pursued) robotic infantry and vehicles.
- Contracted Dr. Viper to develop a super soldier serum using a test group of kidnapped female civilians in Megakat City.
- Kidnapped Mayor Manx, Commander Feral, David Litterbin and Deputy Mayor Briggs to spark a feud between the Pastmaster and Madkat in order to obtain their active magical pocket watch and kat-in-the-box respectively.
- Contracted the demoness Swytch to assassinate MBI Director Sulfur, MBI receptionist Stormcrow Selkirk, Sprites Tansy & Assana Burmilla, Journalist Ann Gora, and NSA traitor McGrath.
- Developed Ethereal Fusion Bomb and anti-enchantiton technology that both nullifies and destroys magical entities.
- Used Agent Josie Lyons in a conspiracy to undermine the MBI and redistribute power throughout several positions in Megakat City.
As former NSA field operations manager in Megakat City, Spinner was in charge of the NSA private agenda. He was wanted by many law enforcement agencies for acts of terrorism, felony criminal accomplices, kidnapping and murder. “Officially” he was deemed a rogue agent to avert the media from making a connection, but in reality he continued to operate NSA missions in secret.
He was often responsible for the course NSA research and development took along with determining mission priorities and assigning resources to them. He was in charge of payroll for assassination hires.
Spiner was often the beneficiary of loopholes in the law that managed to clear his name and allow him to keep working as a semi-public official in the city.
Current-Whereabouts
Apparently killed by operative Josie Lyons in a Mexican standoff during an operation to covertly overthrow the MBI.
His demise is not known to be permanent.
Resurection
Jack Spinner had returned by taking over the body and mind of McGrath due to a hidden piece of technology installed several years earlier by NSA technicians that artificially inserted his memories and personality, along with his physical appearance due to genetic manipulation technology, known as a “Manchurian Chip.”
McGrath was effectively “dead” as Spinner has taken McGrath’s memories and abilities and had caused Felony to break her ceasefire and instigate a conspiracy that had destroyed Megakat City’s infrastructure with an EMP attack in an elaborate plan to destroy the governmental system, sway the loyalty of the populace and put Felony in an unprecedented position of power.
The plan failed, and after injurying and nearly killing several MBI Agents, Spinner was confronted by Mark Sulfur. Sulfur played on Spinner’s ego and the two fought atop the severely damaged MBI building, where Spinner was defeated due to some last minute assistance by Tessie Reed.
The chip was removed from McGrath, returning him to normal. For unstated reasons, Sulfur kept the chip rather than destroying it.
Other Apperances
Spinner’s ethereal form recently reappeared in the Realm of Fire after Swytch became the Queen of Fire. Apparently Spinner’s soul had been tied to her life-force due to an incomplete contract from several years past, and upon her ascendance to the throne his soul had re-manifested. His appearance is the same as at the time of his death, with half his face still burned. His ultimate fate is yet to be determined as Swytch has sent him to the Cave of Darkness as a part of his impending eternal punishment.
Reemergence
In order to separate herself from his spirit, Swytch enabled Jack Spinner to return to his mortal status, although she deliberately left his face scarred. He has wasted little time upon his return to the living, and has already begun taking steps toward gaining some measure of revenge against his enemies.
