A technologically advanced race with similar ancestry to the space pirate Mutilor, the Latifrons are a race with ambitions of galactic conquest. Little more is known about them other than their secret dealings with Dark Kat and the NSA, the two of which traded favors in exchange for their advanced technology.
According to McGrath, this alien race conquered the planet at a not too distant point in the future, killing all those who opposed them. McGrath’s initial mission was to travel back in time to thwart this event, by providing the SWAT Kats with advanced information and technology to intercept an incoming Latifron fleet and divert them off course, making them forever lost in space.
It is unknown if the Latifron’s or their fleet will ever resurface.
