Dark Matter

Dark matter is matter of unknown composition that does not emit or reflect enough electromagnetic radiation to be observed directly, but whose presence can be inferred from gravitational effects on visible matter. According to present observations of structure larger than galaxy-sized as well as Big Bang cosmology, dark matter accounts for the vast majority of mass in the observable universe.

Many alien civilizations, including the Zarhabi, Aquians and Latifrons harness the power of Dark Matter in their various technologies.

When a Cyberdemon or Cyberkat absorbs the energy of Dark Matter they become a visible silhouette of themselves and are no longer dependent on external energy sources, their own power greatly amplified as a result.
