Enchantitons

In Technology

Enchantitons are the theoretical particles used by so-called “magical” creatures within the “normal” dimension that Megakat City and daily life resides in. All ethereal creatures have been scientifically classified as using these particles, and as such, certain technologies have been developed, most notably anti-enchantiton devices.

These technologies have been under the development of the NSA’s advanced research and projects division. Defense has been the key research item, but some offensive applications have been made. Containment, disablement, defensive and even destruction of ethereal entities has been made possible.

The largest application thus far has been the anti-enchantiton bomb, a large-scale eradication device that could destroy all “magical” beings within a 30 square mile radius while leaving normal beings, structures and geography intact.
