Summary coming soon
<Protocol> RPG go!
*** _Matt_ is now known as Htargcm
<SypherSK> ::so, had just again attempted to explain the situation to Htargcm, knows it sounds ludicrous and can’t really think of a way to make it seem more plausible::
<Protocol> ::waits for Htargcm’s answer, ’cause Sy I think explained what- yes::
<Liz_Stormcrow> <Robert_Bexorn> ::waits anxiously, is very tense. Wants to go help his friend and get info for his writing!::
<SypherSK> ((<Prot> It’s really, you twit! I was there! I saw it! <Htargcm> I think you just put yourself in that Macrowave, didn’t you? Your braincells are probably decaying as we speak… <Prot> ::snarls, catches the floor on fire::))
<Protocol> ((::Dies!::))
<Protocol> <Josie> So… do you think you can maybe help and take a look at it?
*** LeoSK is now known as ZechsSK
<Htargcm> Let me think…how about no? You brought me here, and now you want to send me somehwere else that’s probably even farther away from where I need to go?
<SypherSK> ((<Sy> We’ll take you out to eat. <Htargcm> Whatever I want? Can I order the lobster? <Sy> Sure. <Htargcm> Alright. <I guess I can humor these idiots…> ::later:: <Htargcm> ::after looking at DK’s stuff, still thinks it’s a hoax, pokes at this and that:: Okay, all fixed! <Everyone> ::zaps off:: <Htargcm> Whadya know… It works! Huh, maybe I shouldn’t have altered that destination setting…))
<SypherSK> No, we want you to send us.
<Protocol> ((::diies::))
<Liz_Stormcrow> ((::dead::))
<Htargcm> What makes you think I can?
<Protocol> <Josie> We don’t know if you can, but you’re the most cabable of understanding the equipment.
<SypherSK> We just thought you might be better acquainted with that sort of thing…
<Htargcm> :: eyes Sypher :: Why don’t you do it? I’m sure you can just interface with it and…:: idea comes to mind :: Unless if you can’t anymore…
<SypherSK> I can’t….
<Htargcm> How come? :: interested ::
<Liz_Stormcrow> <Robert_Bexorn> ::looks curiously at Sypher::
<SypherSK> Because the Enforcers are tracking every move any CyberKat makes.
<Protocol> And because he lost his cyberkat half… like a fool. ::hrmphs:: <Josie>::mrrrs:: Look will you help us or not? We let you stay here and all for free.
<Htargcm> If you’re willing to risk trusting in someone like me to operate some kind of technology then I think that you’d of taken that kind of risk :: and as Prot beats my assumption ;) :: Ah, I thought so.
<SypherSK> ::glances at Prot, wonders if she knows yet that “lost” is an understatement::
<SypherSK> Yes… ::shifts uncomfortably:: I’m a bit low on options.
<Liz_Stormcrow> <Robert_Bexorn> ::looks very puzzled and anxious::
<Protocol> ::just thinks “it” rebelled against him and took off for good or something::
<Htargcm> Tell me, how was it that your powers were disabled?
<Protocol> Yes, Sypher, do tell of your stupidity. ::boy she’s harsh on him, its the dark matter! somewhat ;D::
<Liz_Stormcrow> <Robert_Bexorn> I’d like to hear as well.
<Htargcm> :: wants to know if it’s a viable way of using it against Cyberdemons. That kind of info. would be worth all the trouble he’s been put through ::
<SypherSK> I did it myself to hide from the Enforcers. I just did it… the unconventional way and split my CyberKat half off as a seperate entity.
<SypherSK> ((<Htargcm> There’s a conventional way? <Sy> Well, kinda. Prot beta-tested it and she’s still kicking. ::gets knocked thru a wall in a blur of motion:: And, boy… ::slurred speech:: …can she kick hard.))
<Liz_Stormcrow> ((*DIES!*))
<Protocol> ((::dies!:: ))
<Htargcm> So what’s the conventional way?
<SypherSK> Just… pretty much re… designing, I guess the CyberKat in question’s body within the computer. It took me and Matrix both to do it to Protocol… and we only took away her dangerous powers.
<Htargcm> If you show me how to do this, then I’ll help you.
<Protocol> ::glaaaaaare at Sy for that one XD::
<SypherSK> ::blinks:: What would you want to do it for? ::tries to ignore the heated stare of death aimed at his back::
<Protocol> Whot do you think?! So he can go back to his time/world/whotever, and do it to all the cyberkats there. At least he better just KEEP his mitts of of the cyberkats here… unless you want to mess with Matrix or Mainframe or something.
<Liz_Stormcrow> <Robert_Bexorn> ::now looks VERY confused::
<Htargcm> I have my reasons, many of which have been stated :: crosses arms ::
<Protocol> ((lol <Bexa>::wonders when he’s going to wake up from this dream::))
<SypherSK> ::to McGrath:: If that’s your intent, it can be done… but I don’t know a way without using a CyberKat. And, it’s not exactly a fast, easy process. It’s effective, but not very practical as a weapon.
<Htargcm> I’ll take it.
<Protocol> Good now can we just go already?
<Liz_Stormcrow> <Robert_Bexorn> ::nods eagerly:: Yes, we should.
<SypherSK> Alright. ::nods, isn’t terribly sure he *wants* that power in McG’s hands, aware it could potentially be twisted to kill CyberKats, but it can’t be helped at the moment::
<Htargcm> So, what is it you need me to do?
<SypherSK> ((<Sy> Why can’t it be helped at the moment? <Symun> Because this plot needs to move and it’s Mattmun. Htargcm isn’t gonna settle for a lollie. Give the kat his deathray… I mean, CyberKat-fixer.))
<Protocol> Come with us to where Dark Kat’s space traveling equipment is, and see if you can send us there.
<Protocol> ((::dies!::))
<Liz_Stormcrow> ((::dead::))
<Htargcm> Fine. Lead the way.
<SypherSK> ::looks to Prot:
<Protocol> Got a vehicle to make the trip faster?
<Htargcm> ((<Sy> uh……<Prot> What kind of agency is this???))
<Protocol> <Josie> Well… we could take my car…
<SypherSK> Yeah… ::mutters a “sorta” under his breath and leads the way to the MBI’s sole vehicle since Shade isn’t around monopolizing it to try to pick up girls::
<Protocol> ((::laughs both::))
<Htargcm> :: as they get there :: What is that? :: perplexed ::
<SypherSK> ::pauses, looks to Josie hopefully, really, is embarrassed to show people that car::
<ZechsSK> ::follows, he’s and interested kat::

<Liz_Stormcrow> asking for the buried treasure, tons of gold for which they’d kill.

<SypherSK> ::comes over and looks too, but stays back a bit to be out of the way::
<Htargcm> :: looks at it :: It’s some kind of electrical interface. Who used it the first time?
<Protocol> Hard Drive.
<Htargcm> And what exactly is he? A Cyberdemon?
<SypherSK> No, but he can change himself into energy using a suit.
<Protocol> No… he’s a regular biological. ::hrmphs insulted:: With some surge coat that gives him similar powers to cyberdemons.
<Robert_Bexorn> ::to himself:: If I wrote about this, I’d be laughed out of the literary circles.
<Protocol> Well? Can you operate this or not?
<Htargcm> No. I don’t possess the power to make things go achorent.
<SypherSK> <Oh, crud…>
<Protocol> ::looks at Sypher, then to Htargcm:: you mean… that’s the only way to operate this? O_o;
<SypherSK> ::wincing face::
<Protocol> <Josie>::with Bexa ‘n Zechs… heard that. <Oh no…>::
<Htargcm> From what i can tell this thing’s only a big transmitter. And those :: pointing at either side :: are generator hubs, for the use of large amounts of power.
<Protocol> Wait, they used me when powered up with dark matter to transport us from one side of the planet to another, and to send me back here!
<Protocol> Can’t I do the same?
<Protocol> With this?
<Robert_Bexorn> ::looks interested::
<Htargcm> I don’t know. Did you take them achoerently?
<SypherSK> ::blinks, didn’t think Prot could go acoherent::
<Protocol> ::shrugs:: I don’t know… it was sort of forced apon me… ::grrs a bit:: but perhaps I did…

<Robert_Bexorn> ((?))

<Htargcm> I think that you were just the powersource. Hard Drive was present at all these “transmissions,” right?
<Protocol> ::nods:: Yes.
<SypherSK> ((<Zeches> ::got lost trying to find the base’s bathrooms::))
<Protocol> ((::dies!::))
<Robert_Bexorn> ((LOL))
<Htargcm> Well, then the answer’s simple. You need Hard Drive, or at least someone capable to making things go achoherent.

<Protocol> Whot if… I got my cyberkat powers back… ::looks at Sypher mainly::
<SypherSK> ::looks back at her:: You know I can’t do it like I am now…
<Protocol> Isn’t there ANYWAY to that doesn’t require being inside a computer?
<Protocol> ((to do that^))
<SypherSK> Well, just acoherently, but I can’t do that either.
<Protocol> Great! ::throws her paws in the air and shoves past them off the platform:: Now whot are we supposed to do?! Your agent and that girl will most likely perish up there! Especially if Dark Kat either finds out they’re there to stop him, or if he doesn’t hold true to his promises. Heck that planet can’t sustain much life for very long!
<Robert_Bexorn> ::chokes:: Oh gods . . .
<SypherSK> ::tries to contact Static… or even Freq, eh, anybody::

<Robert_Bexorn> ((::dies::))
<Protocol> No! ::turns around to face them:: Its barren! The rotation of the Zarhabi planet has stopped, putting one side in perpetual darkness, and the other in sunlight. Since life cannot sustain itself in darkness much less constant heat, its dying. The water is nearly if not all gone, most of the inhabitants have gone, its just a big ball of sand with empty coral shells of buildings!
<SypherSK> Oh, crud….
<Htargcm> No water. :: ponders this :: You can’t survive long without it…so that means…he’ll have to come back…
<SypherSK> ((<Dark Kat> I like conquering dead people. Makes it so much easier.))
<Robert_Bexorn> ::looks up at that:: How can they stop a planet’s rotation?
<Protocol> Well he didn’t look too eager to do that when I left.
<Protocol> ::to Bexa:: I don’t know how it happened, some cataclysmic (sp?)) event must of occured.
<SypherSK> But, he has to survive himself somehow…
<SypherSK> ((<Sy> Like Dark Kat’s arrival? <Prot> I thought of that, but our planet manages to turn with him on it, so I guess that wasn’t it.))
<Protocol> ::shrugs:: Yes he does. He promised those troops some sort of payment, and land each, but who’d want a bloody plot of sand?
<Protocol> ((::dies dead people::))
<Robert_Bexorn> ::to Prot:: It has to be mechanical; nothing natural would make a satelite stop rotating.
<Protocol> ((::diiesagain::))
<Robert_Bexorn> ((::diesatall!::))
<Protocol> Well whotever the reason it stopped rotating.
<SypherSK> ::frowns, thinking:: I’m sure Dark Kat has no problems in leaving the others there to die if he has no more use for them… But, he always has a way out for himself….
<Protocol> They have enough supplies to last for perhaps a week or so… but the planet doesn’t offer much more than that. Don’t know whot Dark Kat has for himself. But even he can’t last there forever.
<Protocol> ::smirks:: Be funny to see them all revolt against him.
<Robert_Bexorn> ::smiles at that::
<Htargcm> That doesn’t sound very smart, and from what I hear this “Dark Kat” isn’t what you’d call completely stupid if he’s pulled something like this off. He must be routing supplies.
<SypherSK> ::blinks:: Getting them sent in from somewhere? ::looks around:: Obviously not here…
<Htargcm> Maybe he’s using an alternative energy source. Did you see anything over there that could be used as such?
<SypherSK> ::turns to look around::
<Robert_Bexorn> Perhaps he has contacts down here?
<Protocol> Well there was a fusion station there that the Zarhabi’s once used…
<Htargcm> Fusion? What element were they breaking down for the reaction?
<Protocol> ((uh mun forgets XD))
<Htargcm> ((<Prot> Dunno, but I grabbed a lot of it and now I’m MEGA-PROT, GNAR! ))
<SypherSK> ((::DEAD!::))
<Robert_Bexorn> ((::dies::))
<Protocol> ((::diies:: okay okay XD don’t pick on me, I’m hanging on by a bottle of mylanta XD))
<Protocol> I believe it was dark matter, as I found a huuuge lot of it there.
<Htargcm> Dark Matter?
<Protocol> Yes… ::huffs:: let me show you… if I can… ::concentrates, tries to remove a piece of it from onna her paws::
<Robert_Bexorn> O.O
<SypherSK> ::watches::
<SypherSK> ((<Prot> ::coughs up a piece:: There, see. ::tries to hand it to him:: <Htargcm> Gross!))
<Protocol> ((::dies ew!::))
<Robert_Bexorn> ((lol))
<Htargcm> :: blinks ::
<Protocol> ::since she has loads of it in her system, manages to take a piece out. no is not nasty or anything. XD holds it up:: This. This is dark matter. ::hesitantly hands it to Htargcm. feels some energy leave as well, prolly shrinks a bit in size::
<Htargcm> :: takes it :: I’ve never heard of it
<Robert_Bexorn> This is amazing . . .
<Protocol> Its naturally from the Zarhabi planet, which is why you’ve never heard of it.
<SypherSK> ::blink, so that’s where it’s from::
<Protocol> I discovered, or rather Sypher did, that it can restore, almost, a cyberkat’s properties when they’re powers were taken away.
<Protocol> Which explains my new look. ::smirks::
<Robert_Bexorn> What happens when it comes in contact with a . . . non-CyberKat?
<Protocol> Nothing.
<SypherSK> Except radiation poisoning…
<Robert_Bexorn> ::backs away slightly::
<Htargcm> O_o :: hands it back at hearing that ::
<SypherSK> ((<Prot> See? Nothing to write home about.))
<Protocol> Well if one holds onto it long enough. ::grins wide at their reactions. takes it back, and absorbs it once again with a smile::
<Protocol> ((( XD))
<Htargcm> Well, anyway. You’ll have to find out how Dark Kat’s getting supplied. Once you find that out, you should be able to find a way to get there.
<Protocol> Oh wonderful. Not like its that simple… ::huffs:: Unless he left some sort of clue around here… ::ponders::
<Htargcm> <Area> :: is clueless ;) ::
<SypherSK> ::is too, ponders::
<Protocol> ((<Prot>::destroys Area::))
<Protocol> <Josie> Well nothing much here…
<Robert_Bexorn> There doesn’t seem to be any further chambers.
<Protocol> ::sighs:: We could check the few lairs of his I know of… but he wouldn’t send me back knowing I knew where to find his supply route…
<Htargcm> Well, in that case, since nothing can be done here, we should return. I’d like to get a head start on that Cyberdemon project.
<Protocol> Ha! You didn’t do a thing, no cyberdemon knowledge for youuuu. ::starts off to the door::
<SypherSK> ::is thinking, wondering if there’s anyway to get his powers back maybe whilst showing Htargcm how to do the opposite.. and hoping he won’t use his knowledge for evil and such::
<Htargcm> ((<Htarcgm> But Evil is Good in Bizzaro-er, I mean, my world ))
<Protocol> ((::dead::))
<SypherSK> ((::DEAD!::))
<Robert_Bexorn> ::sighs:: Why did I have to be a writer? Why couldn’t I be a physicist? ::he’s upset because he’s useless, his mun can’t think of anything to do with him::
<Htargcm> ((lol, anyone else getting tired?))
<Protocol> ((I ayum…))
<Robert_Bexorn> ((no, just bored))
<SypherSK> ((What was your first clue? <Matt> The lack of dumb jokes. <Krismun> Drat it… I’m too obvious.))
<Protocol> ((LOL ::tummy been wonky all night… needs more mylanta but must wait::))
<Protocol> <Josie>::at any rate, she’ll drive ‘em all back in her cramped car to the MBI::
