A small farm located on the outskirts of Megakat City, owned by a farmer. Before heading into the city to steal Katalyst 99, Dr. Viper and his bacteria monster stopped off at the farm, where the creature ate a cow and then the farmer.
When the SWAT Kats, Felina Feral and Ann Gora search for some missing miners in the caverns beneath Megakat City, they soon find the cause of the disappearances: rock scorpions who have been mutated into gigantic, kat-eating monsters.
Rediscovered by Christian Tremblay in July 2018 and provided to SWATKATS.info, this hand-written (in pencil) set of pages is the earliest known document that details the Tremblay’s initial creative pitch and characters, world building and storytelling approach supplied to Hanna-Barbera and to the show’s story editor Glenn Leopold.
The arch-nemesis of the SWAT Kats, Dark Kat is a villain that terrorized Megakat City long before the vigilante duo even formed. His actual identity remains a mystery, but his intentions of destroying the Enforcers along with Megakat City and its government and rebuilding a new “Dark Kat City” from the ashes that would be under his rule are well known.
