Background

In the script for The Origin of Dr. Viper, the Reflex Room had additional rooms, traps and weapons for the SWAT Kats to dodge, and the target range portion included a cardboard cutout of the Pastmaster, placing the episode after the events of The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice.

The Reflex Room returns in the unfinished episode Turmoil 2: The Revenge, where a new feature is added in which the SWAT Kats fight a “laser saucer” in a holographic environment resembling a desert. The rebuilt Cybertron, not realizing it’s only a training session, thinks that his friends are being attacked for real and busts through the wall and destroys the saucer, much to T-Bone’s annoyance.
