In celebration of SWAT Kats’ 25th Anniversary, Tremblay Bros. Studios loaned SWATKATS.info their collection of original artwork that was used to pitch the show and for reference in the series’ pre-produciton phase. Most of it was drawn by Christian Tremblay himself, though there are several instances of outsourced or commissioned works (some from in-house Hanna-Barbera artists), with several of these pieces never making it past the initial “idea” sketch.
Most of this has never been seen before, and is available for viewing exclusively here.
Christian Tremblay, co-creator of SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, shares the original artwork he and others made in the late 80s and early 90s that led to the creation of the original show, with comments about the show’s 25th Anniversary, thanks to the fan base, and some comments about SWAT Kats Revolution.
