Summary

Part of the Plan Z countermeasure system, fired after the Turbokat’s engines are shut down mid flight to provide a decoy signature for enemy heat seeking missiles to follow. It is conventional air-to-air ordnance carried aboard the Turbokat, and was later reused in abundance to overcome Mutilor’s spacecraft’s defenses.
