Campaign Message

Christian: Hello fans of SWAT Kats all around the world, I’m Christian Tremblay…

Yvon: …and Yvon Tremblay

Christian: We’re the creators of SWAT Kats and it feels fantastic to be talking about the series once again. First I want to thank all of you to have been such devoted and loyal fans to the series and to be launching this new program on Kickstarter, we hope to get your support to bring the series back. So thank you all fans of SWAT Kats.

It’s been 22 years since SWAT Kats was first broadcast all around the world and I can tell you guys this was an amazing experience. First of all, from two guys coming from Montreal and working at the legendary Hanna-Barbera Studios, I can tell you it was an unreal experience. First of all, this studio has seen the likes of Scooby-Doo, Flintstones, the Jetsons, all those amazing Saturday morning cartoons that we enjoy were created right there, and then us. We were there making SWAT Kats. And also, every day crossing, you know Joe Barbera. William Hanna would pop into our offices and see what we were doing. I can tell you those guys have created some of the most amazing cartoons in history and we were right there with them. That’s the kind of experience we had in the making of SWAT Kats.

Also we have worked with an amazing team with Davis Doi our producer, Glenn Leopold, guys like Lance Falk who really put their hearts and soul into the series. But I can tell you also that one of the most amazing, I would almost say surreal experience we had in making the show, is when we were doing recording sessions, and Mark Hamill, I mean we are talking Luke Skywalker, a guy that we admire that was our hero when we were a just bunch of little kids now is working recording characters for our show. That’s Hollywood dreams. We lived it, it was amazing, it was fantastic.

Since you guys have sent us tons of emails through the years and all of the websites and the different things you’ve created by yourself, we’re turning to you and be part of the revolution. Help us bring back the SWAT Kats. The goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to create a whole new set of bibliography[sic]. We’re going to create a new TV series bible. We’re going to create new scripts, new visual, even animation. We want to show to our potential new partners what this new series is going to be about. We want to show them the excitement of what SWAT Kats is all about.

We have created a really cool reward program for your pledges. I mean guys, we’ve unlocked our personal archives of original artwork that nobody’s seen before. I mean I’m talking art that has been used in the making of a television series. So please, go see the reward list and see what you want to get your hands on.

Hey fans, we want to thank you to be part of this campaign on Kickstarter. It means the world for us. We’re super excited about it and I know you’re excited about it, so together we’re gonna make it happen. Be part of the SWAT Kats Revolution. Thank you guys.

Yvon: Thank you.

Victory Message

Yvon: Hey guys, we did it!!

Christian:  Yeah we did it! We achieved our goal and this is because of you.  We want to thank you so much that you have responded to our campaign.  This is mind blowing in the short amount of time.  There’s still so many days ahead of us.  I can’t wait to see where this campaign is gonna lead us, but one thing is for sure, we achieved it, we succeeded, that’s because of you so thanks again and let’s keep it up guys.

Yvon: Thanks!
